    I do a lot of debadging and body side molding removal at work. Even though the OP finally got his finished, a tip for anyone looking to do this is to pick up a 3m Stripe Off Wheel. You'll also need the arbor that the wheel attaches to. Put it in a cordless drill, make sure the chuck is tight and remove adhesive residue in seconds without any damage to the paint whatsoever.
