What are your FREE roadside finds?

This morning on PCH while the highway was shutdown for 2hrs due to accident..

 

I'd like those back, please.

 

Found a Rigid shop vac, no wheels on it, hoses were inside, found on access ramp to highway

6ft A frame ladder, found on dirt road

Whataburger sign, found on tracks

Radio Shack R sign, found side of highway

Ice chest, found at beach

ONE WAY sign, found on tracks

CONSTRUCTION AHEAD sign, found on tracks

 

Any beer?

 

Funny! I was reading along wondering “why does this guy spend so much time in railroad tracks?” Finally looked at the username.

 

Found just one of these lying in the bushes at the Park-N-Ride. Took it home ~ put it in the fridge and had it with dinner that evening.
I haven't had any Olde English in over 50 years before I found this one !
Pretty powerful stuff and didn't taste too bad either. This is what the hoodlums used to drink back in the day . . . mostly for affect I suppose.

 

I've never had one. The closest I think I've had to OE 800 is Ranier Ale. Powerful stuff too. I had a six pack but could only finish off five.

 

That's my friend's dad's favourite beer because he claimed something about how they kept producing through Prohibition or something like that? I can't remember the story exactly now.

 

Which one, OE or Ranier?
I didn't mention the Ranier Ale's were talls.

 

Sorry, that's Rainier. He doesn't drink the tall cans, though.

My first exposure must have been in the late 1960s after graduating high school. It was considered a drink for the 'hard core' when the rest of us kids were drinking Coors.

 

Agreed. Back in 82 I lost 2 days when I woke up in shoulder gully of I395 in Bishop California. It was Mule days celebration, and my first time trying shrooms.
