The first set I tried was without pulling the unit, but then I tried installing them while I had everything torn apart for the AJT conversion. The biggest issue I had was them sticking too quickly and stretching them out as I tried to reposition them and destroying them in the process... I didn't want to try the Windex trick because I wasn't sure about the quality of the adhesive. Thanks Rainman for letting me know about the water. I may try that since I have one more set of letters to play with.

I've run aftermarket LED taillights for years with parking sensors and blind spot monitoring with no issues whatsoever.

So the first decals I had I stretched, so i understand your frustration there. What I found to work well for these radio decals was to have a little container that I put warm water in and then added just a few drops of dish soap (I use Palmolive). I would get my fingers wet and peel 1 letter off at a time, as I peeled it off I dropped it into my container with the soapy water. I would then reach in (getting fingers wet again) grab the decal, shake it so it wasn't dripping (don't dry it) and then place it in its location. Since its wet you can adjust it around, if it starts to stick get your finger wet and retouch it. Should be able to line it up this way. Then on to the next letter! When done I gently dabbed everything with a microfiber cloth. It seemed to work well.

Edit: I did clean the surface with alcohol and ensured it was clean and dry before starting.

Much thanks! I'll try that when I get some free time this week. I think it's the only thing my console is lacking at this point.

Oh! I did clean the location with alcohol first and ensured it was a clean dry surface before applying.

You really just need to add what your tires are to your signature in big bold letters.:rofl::rofl: Though, that won't help anybody on a phone.

They are hands down the best looking tires out there. I still just stare at your truck sometimes.

Thanks guys. Yeah something tells me I've answered this question before lol. Guess it could be worse and people are asking bc they look so shitty. I just drove into a snow storm late last night/early morning and they're definitely bad ass tires. I wish I could get them again I'd pay what Pitbull is asking without blinking an eye for their performance.

Soap water. Soak the letters in water first. Then they will slide easier for placement. Once aligned, use paper towel and dab/hold the letters to remove moisture. Easy!

Upgraded my headlights from stock halogens to TRD Pro LEDs from Sparks. Shipping box was beat up bad, but lights weren’t damaged. The whiter light matches my SS3 Max fog lights now, and the difference in light output is amazing. I upgraded the turn signal bulbs with JDM ASTAR while I was there. Also added some custom wheel center caps for fun.

Just a passing thought I had earlier while looking at the phone cable going across my shifter and cupholders to the armrest for Android Auto.

Has anyone relocated the 'smart' USB to inside of their center console? I'd imagine a short cord running from there to a phone sitting in the armrest would be much a less intrusive solution.
