While so many choose to debate and argue back and forth about a trans cooler... some of us are enjoying our trucks after adding the auxiliary cooler... and running MUCH safer/cooler ATF temps.

Ok I've looked through all the comments and I'm still clueless on what's the fix for my Tundra.
I have a 2010 crewmax 4x4 with 5.7. I just bought this truck with 265k for my shop truck and have only put six miles on it.
I've had the 4 LO flashing light come on when just Ideling in the garage in park.
Also had the at temp light come on after short yard drive and the engine just stalled.
I drained 4-1/2 quarts from the trans and it wasn't too bad and smelt ok.
So what's the problem and how do I fix it?
    Thanks

    Step 1: It's a little known fact that double-posting doesn't do anything...
Step 2: I suggest posting this either as a new thread in the correct sub-forum, or at minimum in a thread that's even remotely related to your issues. Your issues are not related to the 2014+ generation truck, nor transmission temps.

Ouch. The 2019+ owners are under a little stress because of this whole auxiliary cooler thing. :D

If you've done the "Search", arrived at this thread, and read all six pages of this, you certainly deserve the best answer we can conjure. Be important in your own right! Start your own thread in the Gen2 forum (2007-2013) asking your question, and someone will help you out. That's just what Tundra guys do.

Double post was probably an accident. He did mention AT temp and draining some fluid out of the trans. While not specifically related to this thread, Im not sure how that’s not related to transmission temps. And the 2010 is pretty much the same as the 2014-2018.

Semi frames are heat treated alloy steel. This is why they have the sticker “do not weld “.
