I ordered the budget system. From what I saw on Youtube it sounds awesome! I wish they would keep me a little more informed as to how long its going to take to receive it. Im excited. I assume instead of the bolt on I can get it all welded?

I have the 10" and it's awesome, supper quiet at idle and a nice deep growl when you step on it.

There are only 5 bolts (use a lot of WD40), so supper easy install and I wouldn't recommend welding it since it's not welded from factory.

There is an additional 4 bolts for the resonator and you have to drill a 2" hole to install it, you can have that welded if you want instead of using the bolts.

I also painted the tailpipe black and added a black exhaust tip, looks and sounds BA!

    That looks awesome man!!
I ordered the budget system but without the dump. It is going to run to my existing tail pipe. Keith told me the Dump system is a little louder but you will hear a little drone so I chose the standard budget system. Also I have a limited 2017 that came factory with a chrome tailpipe that I didn't want to take off. Im looking for the sheep in wolves clothing look. I wish they made a bullydog for the 2017s!

I would check again or call BD. I have a 2015 and for the past 6 months or so since I've had it the app always read 2007 - 2014 Toyota Tundra but was still compatible with the 2015s. I updated the tuner last weekend and the app updated to 2007 - 2017 Toyota Tundra.

@SwampTundra let us know how you like it when you get it installed, I'm sure you'll be pleased.

One thing I didn't mentioned is that the exhaust also increased throttle response, truck doesn't feel as heavy - even my wife noticed the difference last week when she drove it.

    Not nearly enough room here!
Getting that "Water Heater Sized" stock muffler off your truck may've helped! I've had my 10" BA system on for 3 years now and I still get comments and questions about it.

Please forgive my innocence; are any of the @dirtydeeds exhaust systems CARB legal?

Exhausts doesn’t matter for carb. Only the cat which is left untouched with any exhaust system. Your lucky you live close to @dirtydeeds !

I was considering that one, but went with the TRD replica as I plan to add headers at some point. I was hoping you did the TRD replica for the group buy.

I've had the 10" installed since 7/26/17 and love it. The sound is great when I step on the skinny pedal and nice rumble at idle. It does wake the truck up and seems to have more response. Most of all, no drone at highway speeds, but when I step on it, everyone knows. I also like the way it fits easily into the stock position and can use the stock exhaust pipe - I wanted to keep the stock single exhaust look. It reminds me of the Corsa I used to have on a Silverado which i really liked a lot.

I've had the stainless 10" since 2014...added it with the supercharger...nice sound when the throttle opens but not obnoxious and it doesn't drone...I wouldn't want anything louder...if I were to do it again, I would have Keith weld in the Helmholtz resonator as part of the system...my resonator is separate, had to drill a hole in the tail pipe and clamp it to the tail pipe...its worked fine but looking back, I would prefer to have that welded into the system. Overall, it bolts up quick and the flanges are nice...real quality piece.

I added sound proofing to the cab too...makes a huge difference.

When I hear other trucks and the amount of droning/resonance in their exhaust, I can't figure out how people in the cab tolerate it...its awful to me and I am just passing them.

Was there any special type of black paint you used, or was it just plain black spray paint?

Also, for @dirtydeeds, can I just purchase a muffler from you and keep the existing pipe set that came with my truck? And if so, is there any negative change with horsepower, sound and etc?

Vht spare paint is good or go on dirty deeds site and they show you how to paint it......as far as the stock pipe yes......you use your stock end of it only

I used VHT flame prooof on flat black (around $12), one can is plenty.

As far as your second question, you will use your existing pipes and just swap out the muffler.

I wonder if I lose anything keeping my pipes and buying just the muffler and I think he mentioned an X or Y pipe. I'm also wondering if I should buy the resonator

I ordered the dual budget dump. Told Keith I wanted loud and aggressive sound and don’t mind drone. So he recommended this one. Can’t wait to wake the neighbors:burnrubber:

Just buy the entire system from Keith. Less headache and you know it will sound/perform as he intended.
