Sooooo..... it's cold outside.... aaaaand my Optima is dying... it's doing the electrical gauge dance and its refusing to idle.... gotta do the SC400 low idle dance... which means I gotta hold both the brake and throttle while at a stop light... I might take it later today or tomorrow for a load test on both battery and alternator since the gauge moves when I shift in gear.l or D... or I may just pull it and drop it on my SC400 and take it to work.. idk yet... it's the battery for sure... lol

Maybe the tundra is different, but doesn't the battery only start the vehicle and the alternator keeps the vehicle running? Idk what an sc400 is.

SC400 is a type of Lexus powered by the famous 2JZ... and yes the battery helps start the car, but I'm fairly certain you still need some charge to keep the car running

Nah, Its the battery... I've stalled out at various points and times.. once the battery was replaced or recharged its good.. took her for a longer drive today and its been good... funny thing, I left the wife with the kids in the truck idling while I did a quick store run and on my way back I could hear the engine making a funny noise, like if it was running out of gas, which reminded me of a time the battery was low right before stalling... when I jumped in the battery gauge was between the 9 and middle still on... hit the gas and it jumped to the middle of the gauge... drove it home while watching the idle as it would wander below 500 before it stalled and I would hold the gas to 1k rpm after 10 minutes it started idling fine again on its own....
the SC400 it's my other car a V8 1uzfe.. it idles low every now and then and it trained me how to make it idle the hard way...

straight forward. I already installed the RAM track before and my HU so it was quick work removing the dashboard panels.
just mock up everything before you bolt down the plate.

Looks good! What is the mounting track that you have in front of the ICS?

EDIT: Saw in your build thread that it's a RAM mount track

You do need to cut up a key or get a duplicate transponder. I sacrificed my valet key. Then move over your fob internals. And then hope you get a cool Home Depot worker who'll cut a key that isn't sold by them.

    Some more pictures :

Slot for the transponder. I used some glue to hold it in place.

    The pieces :

Welp... Its raining in the Bay area, so I went for the carwash special to work today, and ended up drifting on an off ramp, damn near the entire length... Noticed 2 cars had ran into the wall, I decided to slow waaay down and I managed to hit an oil slick and quickly went sideways... thankfully didn't hit nothing... I usually bitch about the nannies, but today I'm actually very grateful the nannies saved my bacon from going into the wall... and YES, I did bring an extra set of pants though, really needed them today... LOL
