    *googling how to ban someone from a thread*

    :rofl: Jk :fistbump:

    Definitely photoshopped but I hear ya. I’m not a fan of giant lifts and huge wheels with low profile tires, although I can respect the work put into them. But if @joonbug ruined his truck with some deep dish 34” wheels I’d drive up there and smack him for the whole forum. :smack:

    @joonbug :cheers:

    Damn, I need better glasses.

    Each to his own in taste, but I see glass fenders and long travel, so I respect that, and if he's going to jump with 34"s (do they even make 34" low pro mud tires?) then all the power to him.

    Well, I've seen this one on youtube with 28x16 and 42" tires and thought it was wild.

    https://youtu.be/Qn2lIUbJ6uM

    Can't imagine 34" wheels, it would be a sight to be seen.

    Congrats Mike, very happy for you. Welcome to the "I off road a black truck idiots" club.:p Quick question: you gonna take those tube steps off or let the terrain do it for ya?:monocle: Maybe the "work smarter not harder" credo has some limitations? Stay safe and lets wheel later this year.

    I will embrace the suck with my black paint :laughing:

    Wait. Are tube steps not the same as rock sliders?! :eek:;)
    Yeah they’re 100% coming off. I think next week or weekend I’ll get started on work. This weekend is Superstition!

    To do:
    Remove tube steps and post for sale.
    CMC.
    Make bumper spacers and install.
    Trim for 35s.
    Install billies and get an alignment.
    Pray my wheels arrive :pray: if so mount and balance tires and slap those bad boys on!
    Wash. Clay. Wax.

    Oh and either get a dent pulling tool or find a dent puller.

    On that note, anyone have recommendations on a DIY dent pulling tool, or a guy in SoCal that is somehow both good and inexpensive?

    The dent in question: (thumb for scale, located lower end rear driver door)

    Yup :(
    Prior owner clipped a corner parking. But hey, first body damage is out of the way so I won’t feel as bad when I add my own!

    I about cried hearing my first pinstripes happen, but when I got out and looked at the damage, I said "well now I can do way more fun shit!".

    On my white Tacoma they were no big deal because they were hardly noticeable on white. I am nervous about black but also excited for it! We’ll see how that goes as time will tell.

    Gonna be a tough repair cause of the body line. I bought a HF stud welder ($99) to repair the dent I caused on a rock in Sedona. There was also a crease in the driver door from a HiLift during the rack swap (happened before you arrived). So I repaired both dents and repainted the driver side doors. Next time we meet the whole truck will be a metallic satin black.

    My 14 came with scratches. That was a good selling point that sealed the deal:benchpress:

    Yeah. @tundra_20 has a similar dent (but caused by a rock) and tried to push out the dent to no avail. He and I may be on this dent pulling adventure together.

    Yeeeeaaaaaaah buddy! :thumbsup:

    Sunny! No! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Good find! I’ll look into it. Thanks!
