Honestly, it lasted about 3 days, and felt like the mildest flu I ever had, and I ve had some ferocious flues. A cough, and a tickle in my throat was all it was for me. The hard part was having to quarintine for so long, and my job required a back to work note from my doctor, so I had to wait for the duration. Fortunately my job is "essential", so I had a job to go back to.

Something I just found out; All this time I thought the 1LE package for the SS model required the maunal tranny, but it looks like it s available with the auto too according to the summary. This changes everything:D

Believe me. I want a manual, but my left hip is fried from driving an old dump truck for several years. Double clutching day in and day out messed me up. Automatic is my only option.

    Stock, for now
Its this a sport car? What cat is this on? 70k+?!
I would change the front, the back and the sides. Top and bottom are fine. Interior is to be redesigned as well. Other than that is good. Like the performance. Lol. Not my cup of tea. Sorry. I know this will bring a lot of neg comments but they still have a lot of work in front of them.

Never owned a newer Camaro, but I was one of the first to test drive a 2010 when they were reintroduced at my local dealer. They only had the RS model with the 6 cylinder as a demo car. Pros: Had a lot more power than expected for a 6, handles turns like its on rails, and brakes were excellent. Interior was laid out pretty nicely. Cons: I felt like I was in a cave while driving it. Side windows are short, and has a lot of blind spots...it would take a bit for me to get used to. Not the easiest car to get in/out of if you're a bigger guy. -Other than that, I was impressed with the car. I don't know if any of this changed in the newer models.

You want the magnetic ride control and 10 speed automatic. It's not like the old days where the manuals rule at the 1/4 mile. The new autos are so efficient now and shifts are quick and precise.....they are a whole different animal from years past. Camaro's are not good in the snow and it will be a hand full. Just my opinion, but pony and muscle cars are great 3 season cars. If you even attempt to drive it in the snow...winter tires are a must. Don't waste your time in the snow with any sort of summer tire.

-I have a old '83 Camaro Z28 that's just a fun weekend toy that stays in the garage when the salt flies, and stays there till spring. Has a 5 speed manual and a Dart Little M 400 with a small Magnuson blower. Also have a '19 Challenger Redeye that doesn't see winter either.

Nice rigs. I remember seeing both of those style cars driving around back in the day. One of my favorites was the Iroc Z with the 302. That was bad to the bone. Winter tires are the first thing I get for all of my vehicles. The SS only comes with a summer run only tire, so winter tires, or at least all seasons, would be a must. I m not too crazy about the different size tires on the SS. I m still researching the size options. The magnetic ride control must be very good because the tires ride so close to the fenders. As faar as winters their mild in Portland compared to other places, so I think driving one of these in the winter is doable if one prepares. I ve never experienced it, but I imagine, to a degree, the driving modes built into the car address conditions like you describe. And before driving modes were put in cars, a light/er foot is what it took, if it was icy, snowy, or raining.

I think the reason why utopia is an imposible endever is because each has their own idea of what it is. I also think one view is as valid as another, but none are truely correct...the great thing about opinions. God. I could say something, but it would be political speach, so I ll let everyone imagine:censored:

I ve reciently considered leasing a Camaro for 2 years rather than buying outright. It seems leasing is a new animal compared to buying. The language is different. In my research I ran accross this site, which allows one to try to unload, or undertake, a lease. There are leases out there that are tottally outrageous. If people actually make this much money I m a poor Mother F*****. On the same token, For the chance to drive one of these super cars; to go out on a limb, and find a way to qualify for leasing a 2020 McLaren 720S Coupe, or a 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo, is awesome. The only thing that complicates the issue is making the payments, which apparently many can t do. This makes me glad I m only going for a Camaro:D

I m working with a dealer to secure a leased 2021 Camaro. It sounds like they will let me order one too:D That s good news. I can at least get a configuration I like. The numbers are still questionable though, so there s still work to do.

After re reading your post I have to question your reasoning. Do you really think an, "upgraded", fifty year old vehicle, will out perform a newly. 2021, built vehicle? And if so, in what way?

Modernized vintage muscle would be more reliable that the high tech plastic crap available today, in that there would be less tech to break.

I'm 6'2" and it's still snug but seems to fit better. I haven't had it on a track or anything, but I drive like a retard and it feels like it handles better.

I like how the Camaro drove better than the C7 vette as well, no doubt the C7 is faster around a track given the huge weight difference, but the Camaro platform is also used on Caddys and it shows in the better ride quality. Wish they’d do something about the sight lines though.
