    Nice! You’ll love the tundra for hauling the bikes around. I’d highly recommend the under seat storage mod for storing tools, straps, air pump, etc. I joined the MX game last year after getting bored watching my 12 y/o son at the track all the time...I’m 44. Now I’m hooked!

    I love the bikes and that the riding is also family time! I hope to spend some time riding with my kids as they get older.

    I have a Tundra and a 2 place open ATV trailer which is primarily for utility quads but I occasionally use it for the mx bikes. I haven't been riding much, but if I end up riding more my ideal setup would be an enclosed trailer. You can keep the bikes locked in there while you run in the store, have privacy to change, have shelter from the elements, etc.

    Have you considered an enclosed trailer instead of the switch? That Sequoia can haul like a beast. I have a CrewMax bc I need the interior space, but man the bed fills up quick!

    Yes, biking has been great. As a kid I dreamed of getting a dirtbike but it wasn’t in the cards. My neighbor got us into it... He had ridden before and bought bikes for him and his four-year-old. My son Evan was five and I was, let’s just say past my prime—we got an crf50 and 230. I finally got in! He’s 14 now...my 9 year old doesn’t like it as much, yet. :) Big learning curve for me but love the challenge...and the father/son time really makes it worth doing.

    I’ve also been thinking about an enclosed trailer for sure! A 14’ or 16’ with a couple cabinets and an AC unit would be great. Lack of storage is my issue at this point.

    We were initially planning on a DC for the bed space, but the CM back seat would be nice. The truck thing is so that mom’s Sequoia can stay clean and not get crapped up. And, that in a coupe years my so can get the pickup. Of course we started looking at used ones, but then you know how things ramp up… Might as well get a new! still not sure if he would get a truck that’s nice, or if it just stays mine. :cool:

    (nice bike, btw!)

    Just found this thread! Me and my son ride.
    My son is 13 and I got him a bike, we have some property he can ride it on and I got the quad because me and bikes don’t mix. I got on his bike when we first bought it and got home, I didn’t make it passed my mailbox before wiping out, neighbor came out to make sure I was ok, all good, just broke my pride! Some motocross guys call riding a quad riding a couch, well I’m a couch surfer then!

    At the GTR Complex near Columbia SC, they have trails and tracks;
    (Went there on a Wednesday, only 4 others were there, basically had the place to ourselves.)

    How did you like GTR. My son goes to school in Camden, SC and I thought about bringing the bikes up there and riding at that facility. We are typically track riders though. TIA.

    I prefer tracks as well but, they only allow quads on one track, so I didn’t get to check out the others. It’s a good place. They have races and practice sessions there so check on that before you go.

    Rode dirt bikes my whole life. Moved on to quads as they are a great way to get the family together and outdoors. The kids love riding.

    Awesome, I've read a lot of positive reviews. I had such a bad riding year last year that I was on the verge of selling the bike. Was getting beat up every time I went out.

    Should be night and day difference. If I had air forks I’d definitely get the spring conversion
