    Hello all!

Just bought my dads 2000 Tundra Limited 130,000 miles and I have been going through all the typical PM stuff on the truck. I noticed I will hear a pop sound when the truck flexes or moves a certain way. My initial thought was a ball joint as the sound is coming from the front end. Could anyone give me a couple of the usual suspects for me to check. I had a 4 runner that did the same thing but I sold it before ever repairing it.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Ball joints for sure. Do the first gens have a stabilizer bar up front too? May be another point of contact that is moving a little.

Yup they have stabilizer bar as well. Bushings were replaced about 3 years ago on stabilizer bar and ends too.

Any need for alignment after replacing ball joints?

You shouldnt need to do an alignment after replacing lower ball joints.
