One of my other favorite local spots is Hublein Tower on Talcott Mountain in Simsbury, CT. It was originally built as a private residence in 1914 and is now part of the state park. visitors can walk up to the observation deck giving them a 360 degree view of Hartford county and is one of the best spots to see fall foliage in the north east. Its just a short hike up a well maintained trail.

once again not my pictures so credit to who ever I stole them from on google.

Some folks wake up and get ready for the day to go into work. I'm fortunate enough to wake up and go do my hobby. It's always cool when you job doesn't seem like you job. Flight Test is the best job in the world. Bottom right of the picture is the NASA Armstrong Research Facility and 2 hangars above that is where my office is.
