I corrected him once, and it didn't stick.

Doesn't bother me. You Tennesseans mostly have good dental work, and free coll-egg.

We got good crystal, and fubar'd toofs

Move to The Island and we can fix doz toofs, give you free coll-egg, and change your ‘parts’. Best thing is we wave a Magic Wand over it and its all for free! Any Fantasy will become yours, but beware of the consequence as Ricardo used to say.

I hear ya. This is a huge country. When we lived in Orlando my wife had a coworker that had never left the state of Florida. Blew my mind. For her birthday they drove her to the GA state line. :D

In my travels, at one point I worked/lived on an island for 2 years. There was a woman at work in her late 20's who had never left the island & had zero desire to.

Been watching the Stealership OEM parts prices. Shtuff is starting to increase $$$. Fuel Filter bought a few weeks ago went up from $29 to $32. CV Axles I’ve been eyeing in the $456 range are now $489. Wooooweeee!!!!

Yea... the older the parts the more the cost. They seem to like charging storage fees

Nothing wrong with storage fees, but the prices had been steady eddy level since I started giving a crap about auto parts 2 years ago.

Heard rolled steel shot up 50% which may have something to do with it.

How has the Winter weather been up there so far?

I remember waves of heavy lake effect snow squalls reaching south to Indianapolis in 1980 or so, 10 minutes of white-out Blizzard followed by 10 minutes of bright sunshine through a large patch of clear cobalt-blue sky before the next wave rolled south. It was fun driving around town with the top down while this was happening, but I'm happy that I live well south of any lake effect snow squalls.

Guys I really like that blue Rivian truck but I found a cheaper option. Thinking of dropping my spare and carrying one of these in the bed as my spare.
