Hello everyone. I new to this forum and I’m hoping that someone here can help me. Here the issue.

FOG LIGHTS NOT WORKING! So frustrated!

I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra SR5 DBL CAB 2WD 4.7L. I installed aftermarket fog lights, which I used the factory plugs for the fog lights, I replaced the stalk with one that has the fog light switch, fuse was already installed in its place, and install the new relay. Now my problem is the lights aren’t working. I don’t hear the click on the relay when I turn on the fog light switch. Any help or troubleshooting direction would be Greatly appreciated!!

    Were they grounded?
Break out the multi meter and start testing.

You said you used the factory plugs. I would start there.

Unless you have done the "anytime fog light mod" you have to have the fog light switch on AND the low beams.

    Welcome from Florida.

I have a similar issue, when I turn on the fogs I get high beams. Did everything like you did, I'm suspecting the wires in the switch plug may need to be moved. I haven't had time to mess with it yet.

Sounds like you may have possibly reversed two wires.

@Gotyour6 So there is no power to the factory plugins at the fog lights. Not sure where the ground is one the factory wiring but I'm looking!

@Hooptytrix The high beam and low beam work as they should at this moment. Like I said the fog lights have no power to them. The relay doesn't click when the fog light switch is turned on.

@because_v8 What wires are you suggesting to reverse? On the stalk of the fog light switch?

You need to look for the schematics for your wiring and find out where or what they are connected to
There may be a lead wire that would be mounted on a panel if the fog lights were factory but they never put a switch in because they never put fog lights in.
Under your dash there may be wires that are looking for a switch.

    Are your low beams on?

I'm merely suggesting you may have wired it wrong. Pics would really help.

Here's the diagrams for the fog wiring with and without DRL.

@because_v8 yes they are on when I switch them on. And the high beams work as they should. I didn't't actually wire anything. Literally plugged everything in its place. Plugged in the fog lights into the existing harness, placed the relay into the designated area under the interior fuse box, and installed a new light stalk with fog light switch.

    @Festerw thanks for the diagram!!

@Gotyour6 Thanks! with the diagram and your suggestion, looks like I have a good direction to start from!!

Hey guys I have a similar issue, I own a 2005 Toyota Tundra SR5 and recently installed fog lights and the fog light switch from another tundra. Used the factory plug in and all that it does is turn on the high beams with the new switch. Low beams and the fog lights don’t work. Has anyone figured out how to make it all work?
