After 4 weeks my "custom covers" arrived (which I ordered from their website) and they are both poor accuracy and quality control. There is absolutely nothing custom about these covers. I opened a support ticket with pictures and the company closed the ticket without any response. I called their number 1.800.268.375 and the line died after a couple of rings. I called back and was third in queue. Then the call went to a message that extension 667 is not available and hung up. I called back a third time and the line disconnected after I selected sales. These are signs of untrustworthy and shady business practices.

Now I am writing this review. I will NEVER buy from this company again and will follow up in the Porsche forum I am a member of. This is unfortunate as I try and buy domestic made products. Here is the excerpt from my support ticket that was closed as "solved":

After waiting 4 weeks I received the custom covers and have several issues with them. 1: A strap for the rear passenger seat bottom is torn. 2: The round cut holes for the rear headrests do not fit the square head rest trim for my truck. I had to cut them with a razor to open them up. 3. After installing the rear 40 split seat back, there is nowhere to attach the outside two velcro tabs under the seat. Therefore the lower corners of the seat back are loose. The video of a Tundra CrewCab (youtube.com/watch?v=LYrn…) shows the installer ignore these two tabs and not attach them to secure the cover at 4 minutes 50 seconds.

Read the Yelp! reviews and decide for yourself.

it sure is unfortunate that Coverking has issues with their stuff. I am in agreement and will not purchase from them again. I tried some Miata seat covers for my daughters car and they were poorly made and horrible fitting. These were supposed to be 'custom' seat covers, but like you said, there is nothing custom about them. That blue plastic trim tool is better than the seat covers.

Your seat covers are Coverking's "Polycotton Drill" seat covers. If you were looking for something nice to protect your leather, you probably ordered the wrong covers for fit. See Coverking link below for their close-up picture. Those were never intended to fit like custom seat covers; Coverking may say they are "custom covers", but they showed you an actual picture of the fit. They look like feed bags stretched over the cushions for quick removal and easy cleaning in the washing machine.

On a side note, I ordered a set of CalTrend covers from autoanything and they fit like a damn glove. Took 4 weeks+ but was worth the wait.

From the Polycotton product page. They look like some custom tight fitting "feed bags" to me:

1,000,000% appreciate this write-up. Looking at seat covers right now due to my old-fat-ass already taking its toll on 1 year old SR5.

I got a set of coverking genuine neoprene covers for my rear seats back in September. They fit perfect, nice and tight, and no issues with install. Sorry to hear you are having issues.

I bought a set of their genuine neoprene covers and they fit like a glove. I have a feeling it has something to do with the cheap material selection.

It looks to me like you could tuck and pull and work the cover more to get a better fit. I’ve had multiple Coverking seat covers. I ordered the neoprene ones and they fit great but I had to really work the covers to get them right. I ordered the genuine leather ones and they fit great same thing I had to really work the cover into place to get that good right fit. Quality of both were good. I haven’t tried this fabric from them. I hope they take care of you if you can’t get them worked over for a better fit.

"Digitally scanned"...lol. Even in their own product ad they don't have all the wrinkles out.

Wow, I don't blame you OP. I'd be pissed too. Those look like absolute dog shit, I wouldn't put those in my truck even if someone gave them to me.

Clearly, you did not examine the photos in your "product page" closely. Can you not SEE the wrinkles in their own staged product photo you posted?

    screenshot (2).jpg

Coverking's "Polycotton Drill" seat covers are "Battle Dress Utility" seat covers. They are designed for dogs and house apes to frequently poop on, mud track, urinate on, spill food on, shed hair on, then to be easily taken off and washed. You simply were not discerning in shopping for your classy 1794 Edition. Sell them on to someone who desires the convenient protection, and buy something else.

Your installation is incomplete anyway. All the manufacturer photos show the "Polycotton Drill" covers pulled down inside the plastic side molding of the seat. Take them to an upholsterer, and he can make them look like Coverking's best product pictures...tight feed bags, but no longer easy to remove.

Below is how my Coverking neoprene covers fit. Admittedly, these covers were pre-pandemic. Neoprene covers are not easy to install, but not too hard. Insane to remove for cleaning. Tight, no wrinkles, and excellent protection. The bottom of the seatback cover is an entirely different design from the "Polycotton Drill" covers. In the middle picture, you will note that the outside bottom edge of the front bottom cushion has risen slightly above the side molding with use; I simply need to "tug" it down. These photos were taken "as-is" after three years of use.

Anything you buy now is risky for quality and poor customer service, but quality is not the problem with your covers: they were designed to be ugly, durable, easy-to-clean protection.

I agree with those that state your expectations for the product were too high. I had a pair of these on my 4runner and bought a full set for the wifes rav4. They are "custom fit" as in they are vehicle specific but they are designed to be an easy install, not the tightest fit, easily removeable to wash, no detail stitching or pleats, and cost effective. A big protective seat bag but kinda ugly. It sounds like you're after an install once and leave it forever, skin tight, stitched to match a factory seat, cover. Those exist for a higher price and really suck to install and remove.

I bought all my covers off of Amazon as warehouse deals, open box where others had the same disappointment as you most likely so you're certainly not alone. I love them for ease of install and removal to wash and for that they lose some major aesthetic points.

The fact that they're 'utility' seat covers still doesn't explain the lack of response from / inability to contact anyone at the company.

Good plan. I love Amazon's reviews. If the "One-stars" are over about 10% of total reviews, I read the "One-star" reviews first to determine how many of the "One-star" reviewers know that the "green side goes up". That will usually allow you to separate out the incompetent reviewers. :D

Ditto on Amazon Warehouse. Lots of things get returned including seat overs with real savings. I use AW a lot.

Wet Okole are the best I have found. Cover King has never impressed me...tried them once given folks said they were great...sent them back and ordered Wet Okole as I should have done the first time.

It is all good feedback everyone. Thanks for the observations and opinions. I ordered covers only for the back seat and my two dogs. I based the purchase off of their chart in which they categorize this material mostly "better". I have no issues with the material itself but their quality control and lack of customer service.
