    I may be showing my ignorance here, and I am CERTAINLY not a Chevy fan, but aren't the tires the critical component in this hill climb? Did the Chevy just not have the right tires? Or did the Chevy not have enough torque/hp to make it up the hill, even with good tires?

    The Yukon has a Duramax and Allison transplant and is running studded 35” General Grabber AT’s. The Toyota is stock with V chains on the back. Sliding down that hill was sure a butt munching experience. The original Toyota to climb the hill is one of the coolest Toyota’s I’ve seen. It has 13” lift while running 37” tires. He also had v chains. You can see the chain marks in the snow.

    Yup. From the comments on YouTube:
