I Just bought a 21' limited and hate hate the chrome. Does anyone know a place that sells prepainted surround and hood buldge. Looked at every site (sparkparts, Amazon , ebay, all dealer site) and idk if they even make paint code 089 "wind chill pearl" for surround, hood buldge and mirror covers. Please help with any info , the chrome is binding me hahah

Love the chrome. Embrace the chrome. Side note: you’re now older than you ever have been before. Embrace it. My chrome doesn’t bother me as much if I wear suspenders and long black socks with my shorts and sandals and complain about “kids these days” to anyone who will hear it. 8A75BE07-5893-4712-8B93-009983485DAA.jpg

Congrats on the truck, and welcome to the forum.

Your best bet may be to buy a generic surround and bulge (for a base SR model) and have it color matched at a local body shop.

My Platinum came with the surround and hood bulge in Wind Chill, so it does exist. Sparks and others may just not have them listed on their site yet since probably no one has asked for one. If you message them, they usually respond pretty quickly.

The mirror caps don’t come in Wind Chill Pearl, but Sparks added them to their site when I asked. What they do is take black ones and paint them for a $90.00 adder. I already had some black ones, so I paid a shop to paint them for me. They charged a hundred bucks, so it’s ultimately cheaper and easier to just order them from Sparks.

Wind Chill is in the drop down menu.

    Thx guys. @
Terndrerrr I do like the chrome on trucks like I hate in my mini trucks. Loved the look. But this tundra esp with the good bulge being Byron changes the whole lines and shade of the whole front end. The chrome almost makes it look incomplete vs the color match makes the hood look like one piece. I bought color match paint and sprayed over the chrome and surround. Came out decent but want to get a factory or one color matched. It’ll do for now. I’m thinking of leaving the
Chrome on the bumper tho. Adds a little class without looking too off road.

Definitely keep the chrome bumper, you always gotta have a little class.

From what I've gathered you can buy a grill thats unpainted or color-matched and get it resprayed. Its hard to find a shop to paint over chrome plated grill surrounds.

I opted to wrap mine in 3M 2080 vinyl.. huuuuuge headache. I'd avoid it personally.
