Welcome and congrats. Not as clumsy or random as any other color; an elegant color for a more civilized age.

 

Can't help but ponder how rare the Wind Chill color will be given the new year introduced before the 2022 makeover, model availability for the color, haven't seen more than 2 other Wind Chill's for sale in a 15+ dealer area for the past 3 months, the recent stall in San Antonio production due to chip shortage, etc.

Still thinking about black wheels. Here's mine currently in its wild and natural habitat... The big-box store parking lot.

 

Truck is so damn mean.

 

Here is mine. 2020 Platnium. Pro Comp Pro Runner coilovers in the front and Pro Runner non-coilovers in the rear with Icon add s leaf and diff drop. Lift is 3" in front and 1.5" in the rear. Looking to get wheels and tires. Fuel Tech in matte black. Still undecided about tires. 295/60/20 maybe. 285 maybe. Nitto, BFG, Falken...etc. Looking for quite road ride and not a HUGE hit to MPG

 

Nice. Wrong color though. JK. I'm looking at Nitto also. Looking up Fuel Tech now.

 

That was a big factor in me making the move when I did. There won’t ever be many of them. I’d placed a deposit with one dealership, and when they couldn’t come through I started looking everywhere in Texas and Louisiana. Only two I found were in San Antonio and Marshall, both about four hours from me. I went to the dealership in Houston, got my deposit back, and drove straight to Marshall. It actually turned out to be fun. It was a pretty nice drive home through East Texas that I enjoyed quite a bit.

 

Yeah. She’s a demanding mistress though.

 

so, I bought the truck as a demo (45K with 4k on the ODO) I dont have the sticker. I am guessing it is White then and not the Wind Chill Pearl. I have no idea. lolz. sorry.

 

You get a cover for her yet?

Figured it would help keep her clean.

 

I could wrap that thing in cellophane and the dirt would find a way to the paint. Sure would be nice if I had a building to keep it in.
On another note, this is the first time the new one has actually looked filthy. The last couple of days has been the kind of weather where mist is just hanging around in the air all day, but not really raining much. Just enough water to collect road grime and mud, not enough to rinse any of it off.

 

Sounds like my house. Lol. It’s been very damp down here the last few weeks. I end up wiping the truck down every other day.

Yes sir I still have it.

 

Added black door handles, and got the mirror caps color matched. (Gave my wife hers back.)

 

So I let my 15 year old niece take pictures during our snow storm and she blew it out of the park!

 

So I did a thing or two..

Installed Diode Dynamics led light bar kit

Debadged Platinum and Plastidipped the rims bronze.

 

Love this setup. Wind chill pearl is my new favorite color. They should release on all models. War Machine - how did you just the insert (Pro)?

 

There is company that sells just the insert. It does the job but can be a pia to install. A few members have done it some with no issues at all but my ass put it back in a box and ordered a factory one.

 

It's not hard to do at all.

 

Not my favorite color (my black one is still way prettier), but my favorite color to keep clean.

What Tom said. It’s a hassle, but the only way to get it with that color surround.

 

Everything I find on market is for full grill/surround. Any idea what company it is that does just insert?
