Does anyone have one of the the waterproof solar battery maintainer/chargers?

Wife's vehicle is sitting a lot now, so looking for something that will keep the battery charged. It needs to be solar, I can't have a wire running from the house to driveway.

Any suggestions appreciated. Seems they do not cost too much 20-50 bucks.

You are in luck. I found a 2 pack at our local marine store for $39.00 or so. Its best to make sure the battery is charged and then start using it. I use one on our travel trailer. I'll get a link for you.

I do have a solar trickle charger that is held on a window by suction cups. However, it is designed to charge through a cigarette lighter input, and none are live in the Tundra with ignition off. I am considering adding a cig socket that is live to the battery. My Tundra sits for up to a week at times and would like to keep the battery charged.

One I was looking at on Amazon could either charge via the socket or via clips straight on the battery. Her vehicle would need the clips to the battery, most newer vehicles seem to have the sockets turned off unless the vehicle is running.

I use one on my dump trailer. I use the clamps on the terminal. it's easy on and easy off. My only suggestion is buy the largest you can afford. They don't put out a lot of current.
