    Traded a 2000 Bushmaster 223 for this FN 5.7 X28 Pistol and 150 rounds of ammo. Hopefully it was a pretty even trade. Haven't shot it yet but boy does it feel good holding. (That What She Said) Little The Office Humor. From research looks like a MK1 version 2009 or so. Anyone out there familiar with these. A lot lighter than my H&K P-30 which may be going the for sale route shortly if I like the way it shoots.

    @P-Factor.

    It is a very unique pistol and round. It has very good features but requires a lot said “features” to complete certain tasks.

    Before you start shooting thise rounds ensure you can find more somewhere first or you will have a paper weight for a few months. Dry firing is your friend.

    Yes plan on shooting maybe 10 of the 150 rounds I have. There going high as all ammo is now.

    Agree. It is my understanding that Kel-Tec :)burp:) is also coming out with a 5.7 which will enhance ammo unavailability even further.

    Lots of shenanigans.
    Considering ammo is 2 bucks a round, sounds like you got yourself a hell of a deal. I'm looking at getting the Ruger 57 for a truck gun

    5.7 is a dead on round with extortionary accuracy.

    Yeah, my thoughts are that it provides me a "rifle" cartridge in a pistol (I know that is not accurate but you get the gist). I'd prefer to throw one of my 10.5's in the truck but I don't think that work would appreciate me carrying a rifle in the back seat (Even though its still a pistol).

    Not sure that I totally agree with your assessment but sounds like you are well informed. :thumbsup:

    Stay safe my friend.

    Sounds like 300.00 in ammo alone maybe iIgot a good deal. This is what I traded it for.

    I'd say you came out on top in the trade

    FN pistol is between 1100 and 1300 depending on condition and such, ammo is going for about $2 a round right now

    That Bushmaster is MAYBE worth $1000 looking at ones listed for sale across the country

    I believe you are correct. Tested 15 rounds ($30.00) at the hunting camp yesterday and the lightweight and very light recoil is awesome. Wish I coulda carried it for 25 years on my hip instead of Beretta 92f. Maybe back wouldnt bother me Haa.

    I Love the 5.7 x 28 , so much Fun , super duper light recoil and so Lethal .This is my Diamondback DBX pistol. 8in barrel , 1-9rh twist rate, 3lb, total length 15.2, Dual gas piston. 7075 upper and 6061 hand guard. Takes FN mags or promags. 5.7 x 28 under estimated.
