Can anyone from NOVA recommend a shop that they trust to mod their trucks? I'm looking for suspension, wheels, tires, etc and eventually things like headers and exhaust. I asked my uncle Google for some suggestions, and he just babbled on with a bunch of ads. Hoping to get recommendations (positive or negative) from members who have a shop they've worked with.

I live in FxCo...willing to drive up to 50 miles for the right shop.

    Thanks!

PS - I posted this in the wrong forum, but couldn't figure out how to move it...apologies to the mods for the duplicate.

The only one I know of is Trick Trucks. They have several stores so research which ones get the better reviews. As always, some are better than others. I'm in FFX too and I have had good luck with them.

I know of a few. But have only had dealings with the first one (Exline) and it was only for mount and balance of 35's and alignment. But figured this would give you a start.

    1. Exline Automotive......located in Springfield

    2. BaddBoyz Off Road......in Woodbridge

    3. Quality Tire......also in Woodbridge

Thank you! I saw an Exline sticker on a Jeep at work today, coincidentally

Boss Off-road is located in Ashland, VA. Not sure if they do tires but they sell suspensions/lifts and are great to deal with.

Boss only does full suspension installs, I already contacted them. I used to go to Hightech in Chantilly but their prices doubled since last year so I refuse to go there now but I never had any issues with their work.

Off Road Innovations is in North Richmond. I've used them several times and will happily install gear that you bring in.

I work at my friend's shop in Herndon, we are not a tuner or dedicated offroading shop, but i own and work on my own Tundra and he has a supercharged taco. We can do everything except balance big A/T tires, our machine sucks.

I am in Manassas on the border of Centreville.

Trick trucks is the only major game around.

That being said, bring your wallet, all your credit cards, your first born, and your wife, if she is hot.

They are far from cheap, or reasonably priced.

They do good work, and are the most experienced around.

There are other small shops here and there but none with the level of experience dedicated to trucks, and even fewer with Toyota truck experience and knowledge.

Avoid most small unknown shops as their all illegal latinos with no training and don't know what they are doing.

I'm a retired mechanic from this area.
Everyone will say they can help you, but they just want your pesos.
