I don't know if the bumper alone affects the ride, but all the weight I have added to the rear does.

When I am done, I am going to look at the suspension and see what my options are to dial it in.

Yeah, it really lights up that huge bird shit on my driveway.

Also, that picture on Amazon is terrible. You would think Rigid could take a better pic.

    Ok, story time.

I took this picture after I just about crashed my truck, backwards.

I was going up the mountain to Squaw Butte. I had not aired down and there was snow on the road.

I stopped to check conditions and I thought I would make it up this hill.

I hit the gas to continue my ascent. I immediately started sliding backwards. I slid backwards for about 20 seconds. I had very little control. I was at the mercy of the mountain.

It seemed like an eternity. I was able to navigate the slide safely, but it was close.

After I was able to stop, I aired down to about 10 psi and slowly backed down the hill until I could safely turn around.

Ice + hill = a big no for me from now on. Be safe folks. This legitimately scared the shit out of me.

I stopped three other people going up the mountain from making the same mistake as I had made as I was going down.

Damn, glad you made it out safely. Ice or mud and steep hills is no joke, especially in a heavy beast tundra.

I went under my truck today to do some work and I noticed my rear diff breather tube was severed.

I guess I forgot to zip tie one part and the exhaust melted it in half. Oops.

Anyway, it was an easy fix.

I finally got a new grinder to replace my old Makita wired grinder.

I bought a wireless Dewalt one. Man it's nice.

I used it to cut off the spare tire guides so I could stuff my 35" tire down there. I tried to air hammer off the welded bolts, but that didn't work.

I wasnt sure it would fit with the TRD exhaust down there, but it did. Phew.

I had to have my son turn the crank while I guided the tire in. I don't think I could have done it myself.

I have decided that eventually I want to get a rooftop tent. If the spare hadn't fit under there I am not sure what I would have done.

I think tomorrow I am going to attempt to remove the front sway bar and see how that goes. I am a little worried about maybe having to remove the skid plate. Hopefully, I can get it out without doing that.

Installed an ICS Fabrication dash mount to hold my GoPro and my new ODB2 reader.

Now I can keep tabs on my transmission fluid temps.

Also, the GoPro has a nice spot where I can see it and ensure it is recording when I am doing stupid shit. It will also be able to hear me drop the occasional F bomb when I am in fear for my life.

Nice, is the adhesive holding well on yours? Mine fell off day one so I had to jerry-rig something but it was bouncing around like crazy when I took it on the trails over the weekend.

I have been thinking about doing this for a while and finally did it tonight.

I removed my front sway bar to add to offroad articulation. I really don't take corners like a jackass, so I don't think it will be an issue.

I am doing some street testing tomorrow and going offroad on Saturday. Should be interesting.

It was a pretty easy removal. I took most of the front bolts off the skid plate and was able to get enough room to remove the bar without completely removing the skid plate.

The nice thing is if I decide I don't like it, I can put it back on.

The only reason I moved it is because I want to eventually get a rooftop tent, but I'm glad you are feeling better.

I also wired a USB plug into my dash mount ICS Fab so I could plug in my GoPro without any wires hanging down.

Pretty minor upgrade, but it is much cleaner.

Now that it's feeling more Springy outside, I decided to detail my truck.

It won't stay this pretty for long, so I took some pics.

Lookin good! Thinking of removing one or both of my sways as well. I just tow like 4x a year to the track so still debating...

Also love the ics mount. Did you just tap into a power wire to get the usb plugs up top powered?

    truck lookin great!
