    Greetings fellow preppers,

I have purchased a Ham radio (Yeasu FT-991A):
    https://www.dxengineering.com/parts/ysu-ft-991a

and will be mounting it probably in the rear cupholder of my 2019 double cab using a RAP-299-3-C-234-U tablet tray from OC Mounts:

My Comet CMA-UHV-4 multi-band antenna (10m, 6m, 2m, 70cm) from DX Engineering will be mounted at the left tail light using a mount from Rago Mfg.: I am using a Power Stream PST-SR700 12VDC to 13.8VDC 30A step-up converter:
    https://www.powerstream.com/dc2.htm

between truck battery and radio and am asking those of you in the know, what is a reasonable power distribution setup under the hood to run power to my radio and any future equipment such as winch and ARB air compressor. I have so far considered a power distribution block-busbar with cover system from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C5SC7TB/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A1XKVJCRK1NWP1&psc=1

I would prefer to consider other options so that I have room for everything, maybe even a second battery under the hood for plenty of power.

    All advice is welcome.

    Hey Scott,
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have any photos under the hood?

Here is one. If you follow the link to my build in my signature you can see a more detailed Switch-Pros install. I didn’t add the terminal blocks until later. 49CE5713-819B-41A2-A1F8-E0327B3FEA07.jpg

These have worked great for me:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076C46DP1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I connect my compressor, winch, power inverter, and all other accessories.

    Thanks Cruz,
I really like that setup. It would be nice if fuse holders were integrated.
    Nice compressor setup too!

For accessories that are lower voltage (<30A) I like using Blue Sea Fuse Panel. IDK how much the air compressor uses but the winch definitely needs to go straight to the battery w/maybe a cut-off between if you want.
