Got a Sequoia? We've got you covered (or will soon). Head on over to this thread.

Over the years, I've managed to find, download, and stash away a variety of different "complete" (or mostly complete) diagrams for various years of Tundras. Most of it has been a result of me wanting to "upgrade" something on my truck to be like a higher trim level or a newer truck year when I had my 2008 SR5 - things like installing the Optitron gage cluster, doing the Auto AC Climate Control upgrade, or even swapping out my 2008 JBL head unit for one from a 2010 in order to add the BT streaming audio and USB media port. Over time, I've come to get to know how these diagrams work pretty well, and have used the information to troubleshoot or tinker a lot of other things as well.

So, I'd like to share what I have...which now includes the complete set of Tundra diagrams. Some are more detailed than others - for example, when I recently pulled down the information for the 2021 (which also includes data for everything 2016+), I decided to pull down every single connector data sheet as well (there are 520+ of them). The PDFs I have here are not quite as user friendly to use as the live TIS site, but they are as functional as a single PDF file can be without me spending hours trying to actually hyperlink things the way the TIS site does.

The 2021 EWD contains all of the information for MY 2016 and newer (I focused on MY 2021, but made sure to include any EWD-specific pages that were for older MY's in the same group), with individual EWDs denoted by references such as "Before Aug 2017 Production" to indicate MY 2017 or older, and "After Aug 2017 Production" to indicate MY 2018 and newer (remember that production for a new model year typically starts around August of the prior calendar year).

    General Manuals and Info:
    Gen 1 (2000-2006) Tundra:
    Gen 2 (2007-2013) Tundra:
    • 2007 Tundra EWD - EM04E0U
      • Includes System Circuits (by original file name), Location & Routing, and Fuse Lists
      • 705 pages
    • 2008 Tundra EWD - EM08H0U
      • Includes System Circuits (grouped by category), Location & Routing, and Fuse Lists
      • 655 pages
    • 2009 Tundra EWD - EM11A0U
      • Includes only System Circuits (listed alphabetically by first "system"), Location & Routing, and Fuse Lists
      • 690 pages
    • 2010 Tundra EWD - EM12D0U
      • Includes System Circuits (grouped by category), Location & Routing, and Fuse Lists
      • 703 pages
    • 2011 Tundra EWD - EM16G0U
      • Includes System Circuits (by original file name), Location & Routing, Fuse Lists, and Overall EWDs
      • 764 pages
    • 2012 Tundra EWD - EM18N0U
      • Includes System Circuits (by original file name), Location & Routing, Fuse Lists, and Overall EWDs
      • 761 pages
    • 2013 Tundra EWD - EM22Z0U
      • Includes System Circuits (by original file name), Location & Routing, Fuse Lists, and Overall EWDs
      • 761 pages
    Gen 2.5 (2014-2021) Tundra:
    • 2014 Tundra EWD - EM24W0U
      • Includes System Circuits (by original file name), Location & Routing, Fuse Lists, and Overall EWDs
      • 771 pages
    • 2015 Tundra EWD - EM26B0U
      • Includes System Circuits (grouped by category), Location & Routing, Fuse Lists, and Overall Diagrams
      • 778 pages
    Gen 3 (2022+) Tundra:

    Some other notes:
These are set up to use the bookmarks feature in most PDF viewers, and I have removed duplicate "source" diagrams where the same diagram is used in several different bookmarks (Cruise Control, Electronically Controlled Transmission, and Engine Control in the 2021 EWD is an example). This reduces file size, but will mean that if you just hit "print" on the whole document you will end up with something that may not be in the same order that as the list in the table of contents.

Updated original post with attachments for the 2021 (covers 2016-2021) and the 2009. 2021 has been separated out into sections to work with the file size limits, and I still need to work on getting the full connector data sheets small enough to upload.

OK - 2008 and 2010 up now as well.

And 2015...that's all I've got for EWDs.

All Connector data sheets for 2016-2021 uploaded (had to split into four files).
Also uploaded wire harness repair manuals for 1991-2005, and for 2007.
And I had a Connector Part Numbers document for 2005 (but not the rest of that manual).

I'm going to throw it out there, just as an FYI. These are provided for you to use, troubleshoot, and determine what to do with them to the best of your ability. I can't offer any specific advice or information on how to perform specific mods using these diagrams (and don't want this thread to be used for that). If it isn't already obvious by the fact that there are over 500 pages worth of wiring diagrams for any given model year (and over 500 possible connectors in the 2021 truck depending on trim and cab configuration), these vehicles have complex and inter-dependent wiring systems controlling them in addition to the computers that keep the whole thing functioning. Tapping, cutting, splicing, re-directing, or otherwise tampering with anything that was put there by Toyota in a specific way is entirely your responsibility.

Just dropped a Valentine's special for all you Gen 1 owners - 2000 through 2006 EWD's are live above.
I'm going to try and make sure I've got 2011-2013 covered, and that will take care of all current-production Tundras.

OK - so I just discovered a little "gotcha" on the TIS site that I'm 99% sure affects every EWD I've got posted on here for 2006 and newer. In the "Location and Route" section, they actually have multiple "views" for some of the Position diagrams - for instance, most of the engine bay diagrams actually have four separate position diagrams in order to call out ALL the different connectors in there.

I've got all the missing ones pulled down, but I am going to have to get them inserted into the PDF files and then re-uploaded and re-linked. That means that anyone that has pulled down the complete diagrams, or the "Location and Routing" section from the 2016-2021 manual will need to re-download them AFTER I post in here stating I've got them updated and re-uploaded.

Sorry about that - it was a pure fluke that I even caught it, and looking at the ones I've previously downloaded off the internet (that were not originally downloaded by me), I'm not the only one that didn't catch it.

    Stay tuned...

OK - updated links and attachments are up, including the "missing" model years. I had to split the 2006 because it is JUST too big for the file size limits...

Will need to know what year and model (and engine). From there, the specific diagram to get you started is the "Charging" circuit, which will show connectors, colors, and terminal positions for the "Generator" (what Toyota calls the alternator in their diagrams).

In the 2014 EWD PDF file that is linked in the original post, page 128-130 is the charging system.
    upload_2021-3-23_14-38-30.jpgupload_2021-3-23_14-38-49.jpg
The 4.6L V8 is the 1UR-FE engine, so any wiring that has a *2 or *3 would be applicable (in addition to anything with no designation at all).
Based on that, the connectors are E1 and E9. Looking on Page 3, connector E1 is simply a terminal ring, so that's easy to figure out. Connector E9 is waterproof connector, and the pin numbers are based on you looking at the OPEN END of the connector (not the "back" where the wires enter it).
    upload_2021-3-23_14-41-49.jpg

    Referring back to the diagrams
    • Pin 1 is "S" (from the 5A ALT-S fuse) and should be Black w/ Yellow stripe
    • Pin 2 is "IG" (from the 7.5A LH-IG fuse) and should be Green w/ Yellow stripe
    • Pin 3 is "M" (from the ECM) and should be Red
    • Pin 4 is "L" )from the speedometer/instrument cluster) and should be Black

Then, depending on your engine (4.6L or 5.7L), you need to review one of two pages.
Page 174 is the Engine Control for the 4.6L
Page 207 is the Engine Control for the 5.7L

Looks like both have same wiring for that sensor:
    Green/Black to Pin 1
    Blue/White to Pin 2
    Green to Pin 3
    Blue to Pin 4

Pin numbers are based on looking at the "socket" end (not the wiring end) of the connector.

Hey Casey, you seem to have gotten REALLY good at finding stuff in those wiring diagrams! It takes me awhile to find what I am looking for, much less what someone else asks about!

I have spent WAY too much time sifting through them to do mods, going back to my 2008 truck. So, I've really gotten to know the structure of them. Doesn't hurt I've got a really nice (and expensive) PDF software on my computer that lets me bookmark, search, and OCR them to help find stuff.
