I have a 2014 SR5 CM 5.7FF 4x4. It has just over 20000 miles. I went out to the garage to leave for work and it wouldn't start. It would crank, you could see a cloud of raw, unburnt fuel coming out of the tailpipe. I shut it off, cranked it again, same thing. Got out, checked the fuel pump, checked the oil (make sure it was in fact fuel coming out of the pipe), all was good. Cranked it again while holding the pedal to the floor and it started a little rough then took off.

Has anyone else had this issue? I have not gotten a recall letter as of yet for the software update. The maintenance warning message has been on for a day or two so I reset it thinking there may be a failsafe telling the computer the oil hasn't been changed yet (doing it friday). Hasn't done it since. Sat outside at work for 11 hours last night. Started just perfectly.

Had a half tank of gas, was 65 degrees out, no lights left on, fresh coat of wax, no sugar in the tank... I'm at a loss.

Is it cold there? Do you have a flex fuel?

Saw you have a flex fuel. Take it in and get the reflash and have them check it out.
