I have the Cabela's version, but I think it is the same manufacturer. Used it only a couple times but it worked fine. I started sleeping in the back of the truck on one-nighters instead so I am going to sell mine in the spring.

Nice little option to fold out quick. Little longer to set up the rain fly, which I never did. My dad uses his all the time and his only complaint has been condensation.
With a lot of use, his is holding up well. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks. Really hard to pass up for $75...for the double cot too! I started mentally going thru all the gear I have. I have three tents as it is and when I'm solo, I have the bed of my truck set up for sleeping. If the guy lived closer, I'd go grab it.

I like mine. I usually put mine on the top of my bed rack making it a quick, light, and cheap version of an RTT. Before a trip I will lay out my sleeping bag inside the cot, fold it up, and put it in the carry bag - that way I don't have to do it later. Condensation becomes an issue, for any tent, if you don't ventilate enough and if you're camping near a body of water. When you sleep you exhale about 1 liter of water vapor per night so that moisture has to go somewhere - preferably outside.

I have some experience wkith the Kamp Rite 1- person tent. Ver valuable for short trips and weekend camping. First time using it I happened at the campsite in total darkness with no experience setting it up. A glance at the manual with a headlight and five minutes later I had it set up. It keeps heat in pretty great, use only with the rainfly or you will get dew rain in the tent the next morning, which is only funny for like a minute tops.

As for the drawbacks, it's not so roomy as advertised. I wouldn't recommend it to people with claustrophobia, but if you just looking for something to sleep in you probably won't even care that you won't be able really to sit up in it. I'm 5'9'', and I felt like I was pretty much as tall as one could be and still feel comfortable in this one. And I recently visited my bro-in-law and he said he feels the exact same thing in his "man-shed," and has slept in it several times. He reported no discomfort and he is easily 6'2''.

Damn, a liter? i piss about that much thru the night...gotta save my empty gatorade bottles. I ended up passing on the cot. It's a great deal, but since I have a 2-man tent or the bed of my truck, seemed like extra gear that I may not get a lot of use out of. I'm trying to not be a gear whore...but damn, it would have been a smoking deal
