On that website, they do tell you the price ($600) but make no mention as to what the tune does, or what gains are to be expected. Until I see bonified before and after dyno pulls, this one goes in vaporware folder along side all the others.

Got this from another forum. Looks nice.
This tundra is stock except for a CIA , long tube headers and exhaust. DAP tune also. I'm jelly atm.

The tune removed the speed limiter and changed shift points to 6200 rpms. Looks strong.

Sounds great, although I would be a bit weary of the RPM's being pushed that that limit

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Prices: 4.6L&4.7L custom tune on dyno: $500.00 limited time only(discount for R&D)

    5.7L Reflash no dyno $400.00

    5.7L Reflash with dyno $500.00

    5.7L Custom Dyno Tune $700.00

Thing is that it is just a single tune. Any changes after that and you would have to go back and spend the same amount again. A tune with a BullyDog can be redone as many times as you want because you own the tuner.

I won a bullydog, but might have the option to trade it for a dap tune. What everybody think?

It adds about the same that the bullydog does and the dap flash does away with the torque management. I think that's the best part.

The other huge benefit over the BD is, in my opinion, for 2nd gen ffvs. If you flash bd's tune, it's just a matter of time before your truck thinks it's running ethanol. Toyota finally got the programming right on the 2nd gens and BD never bothered to use the latest version.

Since the dap tune doesn't remove the correct alcohol density protocol for our trucks, you shouldn't have a problem. I say shouldn't because I haven't visited dap yet. I've been emailing him and plan on taking a trip to his shop soon though.

That's why I was scared to ask. $6,800 can buy a whole bunch of other mods and upgrades but none can add that amount of hp. Hmmm maybe I should buy a lottery ticket and earmark my winnings to a new SC.

I've had the tune on my truck now for about two months. I've ran Unichip, hypertech interceptor, and bullydog. I've pulled my travel trailer and just done everyday driving. I love it so far. I think he has some dyno specs on his website and I'm pretty sure I saw some on the daptized Facebook page.

He actually has dyno testing results showing stock, bullydog, and the dap. The bullydog actually lost power and torque. Around a 5-7 loss throughout. The DAP tune showed around 16 hp and 32 mid range tq.

A SC is pretty sweet for around 7K all said and done. Power is boosted from 381 to 505. So you get 124 hp increase. So about 56.40 per HP.

Look into a full exhaust. I can't speak for Keith at dirty deeds on pricing.

He has done 40 hp and 88 tq. So let's just say his full exhuast costs 1700.00. Your paying 42.50 a HP. Best bang for your dollar.

Just FYI those results are with JBA LT headers and full exhaust. The trail tune on the BD tuners was written by BD for this exact setup. This is what I'm running and couldn't be happier with the results.

Just as good! Simply raffles for Tundra parts. The also raffle off random other stuff as well. It gets addicting...
