    Hello-

I recently had my 2013 Tundra lifted 6” and 35” tires installed. When getting on freeway the ABS light came on and engaged (making a terrible sound).

I removed the ABS fuse and the problem was solved.

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can leave my ABS active and not have it kick in on corners?

    Thanks
    Much Appreciated
    J

It sounds like the Zero Point Calibration was not done during the alignment.

Thanks for the reply. The technician said he has done that and it still kicks on. I think I may take it to a Toyota Dealership and have them do it.

Outside of that, any other ideas on what to do?

    I really appreciate the help

I’m desperate at this point ! Ha

They screw up any of the abs sensors when doing the install?

I’m not sure, possibly. The technician is stating that the sensor, mentioned above, that measures the yaw, is thinking that the truck is starting to roll over and turns on the ABS. When he calibrates it, the problem doesn’t go away

    I’ll mention that though

    thank you

That sensor is under the center console between the front seats. Some guys have shimmed the rear of it with washers. There are threads on it.
