Well, besides my truck, my house, and a little left on a school loan, then yes. Totally get your point though. I can't imagine not having a $500+ truck payment every month. Your thought is the other side of the fence, so Thanks for sharing. Will for sure keep this in mind.

The only one of those I'd pay for would be heated seats but I think a few guys have added those aftermarket and I'm not sure how much you actually need them in Texas.

4x4 is definitely valuable in the snow or off road but may not be required depending on how you use the truck.

Yeah, it would mostly be for my wife. She uses heated seats when it's 90 outside, ha. I am curious about the cooled seats though on the Platinum. OH and the push button start could be cool, maybe.

I like that I still turn a key to start my truck but I'm old school. I mean, it's all still electronic so the only difference is how I move my hand, not in the actual mechanism.

Yeah, totally get that and agree with you for the most part. My wife's Tacoma has push button. Best thing about it is not having to take the key out on my pocket, haha. Damn I'm lazy, haha.

Keep it. If it makes you feel better, go do a search on cars.com or any other site for used second gens. You'll see tons in the 200k+ range. I just saw one with over 400k the other day. These trucks are build to last. Its just a Land Cruiser drivetrain with a bed. 97k miles is still new. I'm at 127k and it's still tight as a drum.

I added heated seats to mine and the one before it. It's pretty easy to do. The vented seats in my wife's Highlander don't really do much. It is a 15 so they may have made some improvements since then.

I’ll join the “keep it” chorus for all of the above rational reasons, but I’m in the market for one like yours so I should say sell it! :D

The ventilated seats in the platinum suck. At least compared to my Fords. Definitely NOT worth the upgrade. Also, I like a physical key as well. Keep it and spend the $500 a month on some other toy, or bank it.

Yup my ventilated seats in my 2019 1794 suck bad. Can barely feel them. Now the heat in the seats work awesome.

I've not had ventilated seats but I think they are just that. Just blown air. My old bosses F150 had actual a/c cooled seats.

I’m guessing so. My F150 seats would get super cold and the Tundra is nowhere near that. Not a deal breaker for me though as long as them heated seats work good. I use them every time I’m in the truck to loosen up my lower back, love em.

    Lots of shenanigans.
If I were you, I would pay it off. But at the end of the day it is your money and you know your financial situation the best. Nothing beats a paid-off vehicle though.

I agree. I have a 2021 Rav4 and I hate the smart key. I don't keep them in my pockets so I have to find a place for them while driving.

Thanks everyone. Going to consider everything and figure out what I may do. More than likely just keep on driving what I have. I can only imagine the pain in the ass it would be to strip it back to stock, ha.
