Hood Alignnment

I noticed the other day that I had a wide gap on one side of my hood. I don't believe the hood has ever been removed. Has anybody else noticed a gap mismatch on their hood or other panels? Or are the gaps fairly even?

 

photos don't show up. but i know my hood sits a bit funny.. has since i bought it and it had never had anything damaged up that high... only the bed and a fender in the rollover..

 

There are black bushings under the hood on each side that can be easily twisted/turned by hand to raise or lower the hood heights. Can’t see your pics either so just guessing. You can check my build page #1 and it shows the bushings as discussed.

 

Can't see the pics, but up and down adjustment for the hood is as PHM described. If the gap is side to side, then there are 10mm bolts along the top edge of the fender that hold the fender in position. You could loosen those and adjust the gap.

It's not the hood height that is the issue (I think).

 

No expert but it looks to me more like your fenders are a little tweaked.

Drivers side looks even except where the fender curves over the light and the fender doesn't look like it matches the light curve.

Passenger side looks even at the front and back but the fender looks bowed out in the center.

I would expect if the hood was out that the gaps would be a straight angle from front to back.
