Do these work a lot better than stock? I purchased LED bulbs from Autozone and I felt the stock bulbs did a better job. The autozone bulbs seemed to wash out my back up camera a little bit and didn’t seem like they lit up more area. The vleds bulbs on the website seem like they have more led lights than the ones I purchased. Just curious if any one has them and really likes them

I use them both front and rear, also use the one above license plate (mine is in red for extra brake light) and they are very bright.

Vleds are the way to go for leds. You get what you pay for.

I recently fell hook, line, and sinker for a targeted ad after complaining to a friend about the awful, horrible, embarrassingly poor OEM reverse lights. These are Diesel LEDs, which are more than likely a grossly overpriced version of the same thing (bulb only, no heatsink) that you can find on Amazon for way, way less. (My gullibility here is not the point!) I also have a cargo light from HID Kit Pros.

Anyhow, this was backing up last night.

just a note, if you use vleds (which i do for my 4runner and tundra), the reverse lights will over power your reverse cam. you will need to compensate for the added brightness in the menu.

only downside is that you may lose some fidelity in the camera sharpness of seeing objects.
