More feedback again please on the rust frame and paint of the door. To me rust just looks surface from pictures I was sent. And dealer said when the car was detailed the paint on for was burnt in and he got it as good as he could. Any remedies other than re-painting? 171k on it currently, dealership is wanting 8k

Not bad at all. You could easily wire brush the surface rust and cover in POR-15 or just regularly coat in in fluid film yearly.

Check out the condition of the pickup bed floor and it’s underside to make sure the rust isn’t getting through and it’s not in bad shape.

Pretty clean, overall. That paint graphics on the doors would be a task, but not impossible to fix..

You could always start a company with the same name too?

I think this would be the best option.

The rust doesn’t look too bad to me, but in need of remediation, which to do right is a fair amount of work, and a certain amount of expense.
If you check it out, give the diff cover a close look to make sure it’s not rusting through.

Parking brake cable looks like it needs to be adjusted, but should be a big deal (I’ve never done it, but looks easy reading about it)

I don’t know that it has any significance, but the leaf springs look oddly splayed to me, maybe just the angle?

Doesn’t look too bad from here overall, but see if you can talk them down to because of the rust and paint.

You can always wrap the top half of the truck in black and offer the dealer 7K. Check when the water pump and timing belt was done. Good chance you will have to replace once purchased. Should be a sticker on the air box.

Good looking rig, rust looks surface, but poke around in the trouble zones for sure. If all else seems up to snuff with the truck maintenance wise, I would be down for $6500-$7500. Need to inspect that lift and make sure it's solid and not in need of re-do or re-engineering. I just don't understand why the windows are dirty on the truck.

Check the frame visible from the front wheel wells. That's where I found my problem.image3.jpg
