    I have been toying with the idea of buying a pair of MaxTracks. I also looked at similar, alternative brands of recovery boards. Then I ran across this funky thing. Anyone here own, and if so, have you used a TruckClaw setup? Opinions? It seems t be a more sophisticated take on the old 2x4 'n strap approach.

    I would imagine that folks that have extra big wheels/tires with no lift might face an issue with clearance?

    Ratchet strap C channel steel to your tire instead? This reminds me of that video of someone, I presume in South America, ratchet strapping a length of 2x4 to the rear tires and going up a muddy hill.

    Here is a test of a similar (and much cheaper) product. About the 4 minute mark is when the testing starts.


    They're junk IMO. Might work in a wet flat grassy field on a toyota corolla.
