05-06 4.7 interchangeability between 2wd and 4wd

    Hi again. Can any of you fine people tell me if a 4.7 from a 2wd will interchange into a 4wd truck? Many many thanks to you my extended Tundra Family! Jack

    I think the 4.7 is about the ONLY thing that Mama Toyota made interchangeable between models...

    Both 2wd and 4wd models use the same oil pan too, so should be plug and play. Computers may differ though.
