    Hi All,

How easy is it, to add the day time running lights I see on the 2010 XSP Tundras on my 2010 Platinum Tundra? Mine didn't come with them, so I'm not sure if my current wiring would work, like plug in play.

Also where is the best place to purchase them?

    Thanks,

Mlong219, Morning to ya. I have these on my 08, the panels that the leds sit in are either black or white, so you would have to get them color matched by your local body shop. For the wiring, they are plug n play. The kit comes pre-wired and with a control box. You will have to decide how you want to wire them up. I piggybacked mine with my halos in to my ignition fuse (fuse box under hood) via fuse tap. This has them come on when I start truck. Another alternative is to wire it up via (switch) for anytime function. 2nd option requires a little more work. I got mine off flea bay and was surprised how well these were made. Also Amazon has them. Price was around $100. Definitely worth it for the money. Good luck and let me know if I can help. One quick question, can you post a pic of front end of your Tundra. Salute

I have them installed with a separate switch. If I leave the switch on, the lights come on when the truck starts. I really like these lights.

I put these in my Rock Warrior... I wired them to the ign fuse, so they come on whenever the key is on, I also tied it to the light circuit so they would dim when the lights are on.

Here is the front end of my truck, if this helps. I would also like to know how to add a LED light bar along the front bumper? I'm also thinking about going with the retro head lights. Not sure how bright they are compared to stock.

The light bar was an easy mod... This is the 22" single row bar.

As 1badtundra stated, fairly easy install. You can install the led bar on top area of you don't want to locate it down at the variance. I will suggest you install a switch with light bar. I pre-installed one and fuse tapped into my door locks. That fuse is located in fuse panel inside cab on left side. As far as retrofit vs stock, no comparison. The stock headlights suck to put it nicely.
Here's the info on the budget retrofit, or whatever one you want. Hope this helps

Finished product will look like all other retrofits

Bull bar, spot light and fog lights. Master lock tool lock system. Rear brake lights underneath the Tellgate with turn signal's, just added new step bars, vent visors, HID head lights and fog lights. Just ordered a lift kit.
I've been looking for them as well. Can anyone tell me how much they are? I found a set for $660 but that can't be right can it. Also where have people been buying them from. Thanks

Can you buy these directly from Toyota since they came with the XSP version/trim? If so, does anyone have partno#
