    Hi to all!
I hail from an extended family of Tundra people and own a 15 dc Limited and an 01 crew Limited that hit the quarter million mark last month and is awesome. We do have a problem, however with my grandson's 06 crew Limited. It blew the left side head gasket and shortly after that threw a connecting rod. I wish to get a used replacement that is a direct replacement. With all the 4.7s out there, I really want one that will work properly with no modifications need.

Can anyone please provide info to me? Thanks, Jack

Have to stick with a 05-06 VVti replacement 4.7 from a tundra. Those will be plug and play. And I'm guessing the 01 Limited is an AC not a crew?

You can search car-part.com and it will find equivalent used engines from salvage yards in your area with mileage and condition.

Local yards tell me 05-07 Sequoia as well. And you are quite correct about my 01 AC. And I thank you for your timely and correct response. Jack
