damn. I just gave my wife the rear husky to give to me on christmas.

If I saw these I'd have got em. The side coverage is very good here. They do look like they'll curl over time though. All the WT mats I've had on previous vehicles have curled and stained brown regardless of what you do to them. I can't be bothered to replace the front toyota all-weather mats which came with the truck but the back ones are crap. The front ones aren't a lot better but the adults don't drag their feet over all areas of exposed carpet like the monsters in the back.

I haven't actually opened or installed the husky rear mat so I can't comment on how well it'll work but the WT's I've owned have all be effective but annoying. I've had 1 year on the toyota oem's and they aren't worth keeping if you get them for free.

I’ve been using Weathertech for years, but just went with Husky on the new one so I could compare. Have only had them in about a week, but I do like the look and feel of the Husky better.

Just opened the Weathertech HP Liners. And within 10 minutes I have my return authorization back to them. Very disappointed.
Front has less coverage than my Pro mats that came with my truck - half the carpet is exposed on the dead pedal. Also, I did not notice in the very small print on the website that the rear "are our standard Floor Liner product". They came folded up 3x in the box and I can already see they are going to curl on the edges.

Ordering the Husky Mats today. Between freight to me and freight back, will cost me $50 to realize these are not for me.

    Stock, for now
I bought the Huskies. No regrets. One important thing is that they will no be flat out of the box. I left them sun bathing for a while. They will become soft. Install them and in a week or so they will find their shape.

I have the same issue with the weathertech on the passenger side of my CrewMax. Always curling up on the side by the door right at the door jamb.

I've thought about double sided tape or maybe some heavy duty velcro to hold it down.

Other than that they are great everywhere else, even under the back seat they've caught all my kid's spills as they go way back under.

Good to know. I just put in the back row mat and it was stiff and didn't lay down well at all (cold didn't help either.) I was a little disappointed to be honest. I'll see how it lays out after it's settled although again, with the cold, it may be a while.

It will lay down eventually. I had to massage my Gators with a bit of low heat from a heat gun.

I just bought a barely used 2017 Platinum. It had Weathertech liners. The ones in the back are fine but absolutely hated the two in the front. They are almost slick like. The grooves are flatter and further apart. If your feet are wet it actually becomes slick and lose footing getting in. I replaced the front two with Husky and love them. Much more Grip as the grooves are higher and closer together. Just my opinion. Husky>Weathertech

Strange though because we have Weathertech in our 4Runner and they are great. Maybe mine were just overused or a Tundra Weathertech specific thing.

Do you happen to have the part number for those. I see two different models online. One has a slit on the right side, and the other is solid all the way across. I have the 60/40 split rear seats. It's a 2020 crewmax.

Husky Weatherbeaters are by far the best. Get the full liner for the rear, not just the footwell one

Husky Xact Contours are the best, having had weathertechs in the past they are much better. The passenger mat actually stays put without using the anchor which is cool since my wife can actually use the mat without it slipping out from under her and tearing her ACL. The coverage with the Huskies isn't quite as good but the rubber texture has better grip when stepping in and conforms to the floor without having to use a heat gun to get things to lay right. Also, even though the Husky site doesn't bring up the Xact Contours when searching 2021s I can confirm they fit no problem. I guess someone should tell husky that the front and rear footwells haven't changed since what, 2014...

I made this same mistake ordering weather tech before checking the forum! However, having ordered the husky's front/rear from Amazon, and weather tech direct I had the opportunity to compare both before making my final decision. In the end I kept the weather tech HP rear and husky weatherbeaters for the front. The weather tech rear almost went back as it covered the rear vents under the driver/passenger seats. A little work with a razorblade to cutout more of the mat and some dynamat under the vents to lift them slightly solved the problem. The weather tech rear coverage was way better than any others, plus the side coverage between door and seat was a must for kids getting in and out in the back. It took a day or two to lay down, and I placed a small velcro strip to help the edges lay flat but its fitting well now. The husky's offered much better coverage up front, including the dead pedal spot under the e-brake. The passenger side also had a plastic fastener to keep the mat in place. The husky rear had very little coverage on the sides, and was much more rigid than the front mats. Also, it sat for a few days in the truck and never laid flat so it went back. In the end this combination was the best fit for what I wanted. I saw a few other posts recommend this combo of husky front / weather tech rear, and I'd definitely recommend the same. Hope this is helpful info for those looking for options.

Hate to say this but I would not recommend weathertec. Been a supporter of them for several years. My rear 2022 mat will not seat underneath the doors despite a lot of tape holding the mat down.
