Has anyone tried taking off all the stock seat covers to clean them?
Mine are pretty dirty and I thought about throwing them in the washer but don’t want it to turn into a nightmare project

I haven't ever washed seat covers in the washing machine but Blue Magic 900 Carpet Stain and Spot Lifter is the best cloth seat cleaner I have used.

I’ve removed both Front Headrests Covers from my 2002 when I was going to embroider them. Its a wrestling match. Couldn’t imaging doing the entire seat, but its doable as somehow they got on there in the first place. Take pics of your progress.

I’ve used a mild degreaser solution for fabrics on spots. Once clean/dry, I’ve sprayed them with Silicone Fabric Protector with great success. Makes following clean-ups easy and repels dust/dirt from sticking.

The key to cleaning is working all the angles of fabric. Having some hot water close by to rinse the microfiber rag helps.

Might as well clean your seatbelts, as well. Spray them with Silicone once dry and that factory ‘pop’ will return. Watch out from loosing an eye though.

Got after it. A lot of coffee stains and some of the soil came off. May have to rent and upholstery cleaner

Washing them in the washing machine will be the end of them. You'll never get them back on. They will go from size medium to XXSmall. A hand held upholstery cleaner that has a rotating brush, cleaner solution and vaccum is the best. A can of foaming cleaner and a scrub brush and a shop vac is a close second. Gotta get all the cleaning solution rinsed out and the upholstery dried completely out. Don't wanna soak it. Warm day with some box fans after cleaning works good. Might have had to help a friend after we submerged his truck....
