Has anyone had experience w the MC Auto TRD Pro Grille Insert? Curious about the quality and if the TSS garnish has any issues.

I just bought one. It’s coming Saturday. I figure if it’s shit but the tss sensor works I’ll buy an an OEM grille and just use the sensor cover (cause I ain’t payin $300+ For a sensor cover). But @Jim LE 1301 looks good...I will try update in a couple days

Add me as the one of the ones that have the grille from mcauto. 500 miles and heavy rain and no issues.

EDIT: initial start up caused a TSS malfunction, and I unplugged and plugged back in. No issues...
My sensor actually came damaged cosmetically that will most likely drive me nuts, and will most likely crack in the future. I requested a new one (but they aren't open on weekends)...Hopefully they have good customer service.

looks great though. I’m happy with it overall.66A9F18D-1B4B-460E-97C6-1448869B0D15.jpg

Both my grille and garnish showed up with some pretty bad blemishes. I had to call them to get a response. I had to ship the old one back (at their expense) before they’d ship out new ones. They should be here next week.

Sorry to hear...Mine came quite dirty on the inside of the grille and the white bag it came in looked like it was soaked in a river. But my grill was blemish free. Sensor is cracked though, it will chip off at some point so I will have to return. I ruined my OEM grill so I can’t go back to that...

Did anyone reuse these pieces from the regular grille?

Mine had that little chip in the bottom center too. Looks like it’s where the material breaks off when they mass produce them. I sent an email so we’ll see.

Yeah, my only issue was it’s cracked around it too. So it will separate from the clear part as well at some point soon. Overall I’m happy with it, hope you are as well!

I bought my pro grille on Black Friday and received it less than a week later.

No issues whatsoever. I didn’t not reuse any pieces from the factory grill.

I am happy to report TSS is working fine - it activated the other day when another car made a left turn in front of me.

    black out still in progress....

TSS seems to be working, no error codes at least. Might dab that garnish chip w a sharpie. Now waiting on bumpers to come back from powder.

FYI, they messaged me back about the chip. Said exactly what I thought about being where it separates from other material and that it’s normal.

My radar works fine w my cruise control, doesn’t seem like the PCS alarm is coming on like it used to. Anyone experience this?
