I was in the middle of replacing my brakes and rotors on my 03 tundra sr5 when the steel caliper line ruptured while removing the caliper. after inspecting the steel line it was too far gone from rust damage. so I ordered new ones for the driver and passenger side.

I decided to go through the calipers with a wire brush to knock off all the rust and clean them up.

Does anyone know the torque specification for the 4 bolts on the calipers? I can't remember if it was 90 lbs/ft.

ps- before doing the brakes check to see if the steel line is corroded because you can't find them in a local auto parts store. you can only find them at the dealer, and they'll have to order them for you. I bought a pair for $34.96 at toyota of huntington beach.

    thanks!
