What would adding sway bars to a truck that has airbags do for towing? I use my Tundra for towing a travel trailer. I installed the airbags to take the squatting out of the rear end when towing the trailer.

I'm not a suspension expert, so hopefully the more "learned" guys will chime in.

My guess is that the sway bar would help a bit with body roll, if you have any.

I too run airbags for towing, but do some off-roading in my truck too, and think the sway bar will limit some articulation. If not a big off-roader, I would highly recommend the sway bar for street and towing improvement. Just my thoughts.

Swaybars help with body roll. Depending on how you plumbed your airlines (each bag separate, or both bags plumbed together) you can get a similar effect from the bags. However, when not towing and having low psi in the bags, a swaybar would be more effective for body roll. I have both, do moderate offroading and neither have really slowed me down. Yes I may not get as much up/down travel, but it hasn't been a hinderance on moderate offroading here in Colorado. If I wanted a max offroading vehicle, I wouldn't be doing it in a tundra..

Did you have to rotate your sway bar brackets to accommodate a lift?

    Oh one or two.
I run bags and the TRD Rear Sway bar and it handles great. My truck is a street queen so I don't have to worry about articulation.
