I've never seen anyone here replace the body mounts. It might be hard to find an aftermarket option.

What exactly are you trying to do? You said they were for a project so I was wondering if you could pull some from a junkyard.

I'd tell you to go w/Energy Suspension just because their stuff is what I've always used in every project I've rebuilt, though they're a bit stiff. But I just checked the site looking for early 1st gens and the only bushings I see are for steering rack.

Although they do have some universal kits. You may be able to get on the horn with them and ask their opinion, what they recommend.

Oh no - the truck had the frame recall done years ago. I'm guessing they lost part of the mount. I only noticed the cab is uneven and looked under to see that the body mount is not all there.

I guess it could be collapsed, but the truck isn't that rusty. I'll know more when I get it apart. The rest of the mounts look fine.

    Bumping this thread.

I’ve got the weirdest noise/creak coming from the rear drivers floor board area. It only happens when I’m going 30mph+ and it definitely gets louder if I fold up the seat. At first I thought it might have been the spare tire stuff moving around so I removed it all and the noise is still there. Looking at the mounts, it looks there is pretty much no bushing left?
