I don't lose stuff anymore. I discovered a trick. Anytime I lend anything out, especially at work, I'll take a picture of the person holding whatever I lend them. Then erase the pic when I get it back. Been doing it for a couple of years now and haven't noticed anything missing since.

I just don't lend it out. If someone can't afford to buy what they are borrowing, they also can't afford to replace it when it breaks.

When I loan books, I write inside the cover,"stolen from Ray on-------" with the date about 6 months earlier. Usually embarrassing enough to assure swift return! lol

My jack mount is just a couple of zip ties cause all the weight is up on top of the Decked Drawers. Second picture is the base pad for sand or mud, just a piece of 3/4" ply. Last is the small strap I use to pick a wheel. Also carry a 5t bottle jack and sometimes the floor jack if I expect to put on chains

Here is my mounts. Little DIY work but saved me a lot of jack! No but really, it rides great and uses the wasted space over my fenders nicely. Also protected (somewhat) from thiefs inside my ARE. Yes the shovel is new. My other one broke! Hope this helps!

Oh, I never posted what I ended up doing. Just mounted it on the floor of the bed with one bolt going through the bed. It's very stable and out of the way.

I have the same one as @Hattori. Actually he told me about them. :) Just drilled 4 holes and bolted through. Also added the small rubber feet to stop the can from rattling when empty.

Another hi-lift is in use on the trail. This is Lake Havasu to Alamo Lake.

Hi-Lift makes an attachment for the jack that attaches to the wheel and gives you 4 more attachment points. Nice thing is it lifts the wheel so the suspension does not have to be extended before the wheel is lifted. Great accessory.

I don’t have sliders. What are you all using as jacking points with your tundras? Does the curved bumper mount work on the Tundra and are the bumpers strong enough to lift from?

No. If you don’t have sliders, get a bottle jack.

Just keep in mind, you can use a highlift as a winch substitute also. Plus there might be another person in need somewhere in your travels. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

One more fact about lifting a Tundra with the highlift, use a chain, strap, or this wheel lift sling designed exclusively for this.Screenshot_2021-01-01-13-34-52.jpg

I was thinking about putting mine in cheap foam-lined gun case and keeping it in he bed up against the forward bed wall -- I will getting a tonneau so it will remain out of sight.

I have that wheel sling. I find it works well.
