I have an 05 Tundra double cab 4.7 V8 with 228,000. I’m planning on doing a timing belt and “all the other stuff while I’m in there” I don’t know the history of the truck so I just want to replace it all!

I was planning on just getting a Denso off Amazon for around 120-140. But now I can’t find one that says it fits a double cab ( they all say access cab) and there are a bunch of bad reviews saying it’s now made in China junk. So not sure about that route. I’m not going to put a cheapo no name brand in. My local auto parts stores all have their own brand for like $200. But for that price I can put in a 3 row champion all aluminum in ($244 on their website) there is also a mishimoto normal radiator with plastic end caps for $177
    Thoughts?

What about an OEM radiator? The second #1 is for a double cab. https://www.sparksparts.com/v-2005-...ing--radiators-coolers-and-related-components

Check your local Stealership and see if its participating in the Toyota Parts Programme. Big savings!

I just installed a Denso from what I believe was a Napa Radiator which I know was 6-7 years old. Cooling temps were 195-200° and now with the Denso they dropped to Optimized 183-185°. Yes they are made in Tiawan. Paid $140 at my Stealer.

I'd go with Denso as well.... I just purchased a relay off of rockauto aftermarket box and the relay itself came with a Toyota label and toyota part number printed on the top

I’d like to get one of the ones off rockauto. They have 2 part numbers. 2210517 which is described as “base model” and 2210518 described as “crew cab”. Do they mean double cab when they say crew cab?

I was about to buy the one off of sparks but then..........789833A4-6300-4390-BAC0-C2E62F860BF6.jpg

More than likely crew cab is double cab, look up the big 3 (GM, Ford Dodge) for cab options, but why wont you try your local dealership's online site and pick it up FREE locally and ditch the shipping cost, cuz scratch that, its more than the part....

After googling the part numbers it looks like the “crew cab” radiator is the double cab. Gonna go with that one. $120 is t bad at all. My local dealership is always crazy expensive. Thanks for the help!

yes, the parts counter is always double of what you find it at their online site... sometimes its 50% off other times its a little more, I found that the local Lexus dealership parts shop is cheaper than the Toyota parts shop in Nor Cal, I've also shop at different sites in other states for cheaper prices....

The dealer in my hometown doesn’t participate in the discount program, but the one an hour away does. There’s also seemingly always free shipping if order is over $75.

So depending on how quickly I want it, it’s easy enough to get it.

It's flown in personally by Sir Richard Branson and the pkg rides on the copilot's lap. Worth it.

I knew some Dukes from Hazzard. They didn’t mean no harm. Beats all you ever saw since the day they was born.

Well I ended up ordering the denso off rock auto (along with a bunch of other stuff) and the timing belt kit off Amazon. Also ordered a new master cylinder. Brakes are a bit mushy (I’ve bleed and adjusted the rears and parking brake) going to see if it firms up the pedal a bit.
