WV - Another Tacoma Transfer

So I figured I would join up here after spending a few years on tacomaworld.com. Ended up with a Tundra after talking about a bigger truck and swung by a dealership on Dec. 31st kinda by accident. Well needless to say, they were 6 vehicles short of their yearly quota, and made me a hell of a deal, so I drove away with a Tundra. The offer that they made for my Tacoma was so good that I was going to either walk home or drive a new truck off the lot. My suggestion for anyone out there looking is accidentally stop by your dealership on the last day of the year 2 hours before they close and you might get a really good deal. So here she is, 2017 SR5 with TRDOR Package and some of the SR5 upgrades.


So I kept telling myself that I was going to keep it as close to stock as possible, but the LRO 3/1 is on the way (wanted 6112/5100's but came to a compromise with my budget.....for now). New rubber is definitely happening since I had my first flat at 350 miles.....S#@%$!!
Also gave my first try at Plastidip after doing a lot of reading between tacomaworld and here. Did the grille surround in black to better match, still haven't done the insert, but its on the list. As you can see from the Tacoma, I like lights, so a light bar is in the works. And gotta get the front tint on the windows to match the back.

In comparison to the Tacoma, man this thing is huge inside. With a two year old in a car seat and a large dog, the Tacoma felt tight, but not terrible. Now I know what I was missing. This 5.7 is a beast, absolutely love it. Definitely going to miss the offroad ability of the Tacoma, but going to work to get the Tundra to the same level. Just because I love the Tundra doesn't mean that I don't miss the Tacoma though, so I have to add a pic in of it too.


But anyhow, I wanted to thank all the members here, its great to have a group that can answer so many questions and provide the knowledge needed. Look forward running this Tundra for several years.

I am just outside of Elkins. Based off of your name I would guess that you are also from WV, Where at?

I couldn't make up my mind which it was, lol. I removed the space just for you but yes, as @PermaFrostTRD said, its just the Offroad version.

 

Finally got around to taking some better pics to add. LRO kit came yesterday, so I know what I am doing this weekend!
