Picking up a new Tundra this week and am looking for a solution to this problem. Had car detailer buddy tell me to put a folded up towel underneath the car seat, which I have done in my current Tundra but that really doesn't appear to work. When pulling out the seat there are two clear indentions in the foam of the back seat. Is there a product on the market that might could help with this. Already tried searching Amazon but that seems to just result in a protective cover to protect against spills and food crusties. Looking more for a foam pad that will go underneath the car seat and hopefully absorb and distribute the load to avoid this.

I know I'm being anal but this is the first new vehicle I've purchased and am looking to hold onto it for the long haul so naturally I want to do everything I can to take care of it.

I have used those swim noodles in the past... they make it better but don’t eliminate it totally. Combine with a seat cover maybe? Good luck

What about a real thick rubber type of material like they use to shadow tools in tool boxes....

I have used towels, noodles, and the covers mentioned above. In all honesty nothing I have tried worked...I just stopped caring about them. My kids have quite a few more years before they are car seat/booster free. Is what it is unfortunately.

Yeah that’s about the best thing you can do is something made by the seat manufacturer. Britax is always top notch.
I used to install care seats for families. I would always see the seat move with towels, pool noodles (although) we used those for taking up gaps. The cloth takes a while but it will come back. The leather does too but it takes some time. Condition them well and periodically. It’ll help in the long run.
For cloth regular cleaning and slow vacuuming until dry helps restore the foam indentations.

I have this for my daughters booster. Works great! No indentations and no dirt on the leather from her shoes

I have these as well. Haven’t taken the seats out yet to see how well they’ve protected my leather yet, but they seem like they’ll do the job.

Took it out earlier while vacuuming the truck. Leather still looks new... I wish I had known about it sooner.
