I just installed some cheap ebay tow mirrors. No vibrations, but the magnification on the passenger mirror takes some getting used to. It is a different overall view from the stock mirrors but overall I like them.

I usually forgot to bring my clip on mirrors with me when I picked up the RV from storage and decided tow mirrors were necessary.

Do you have a link to the exact mirrors you purchased? I had to send some back because they claimed "Power Fold" but it was not integrated with the factory switch. I had to run wires and a new switch. They also were not wired correctly to operate with my BSM. It just so happens that I have the same features you do on my Platinum. I also have the Morimoto headlights. I love how that looks on your truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These were purchased off of eBay through a previous owner who stated they bought an extra set for a second truck but had sold it. I do recollect the box having the Trail Ridge logo. The only thing extra I had to wire up was the LED marker lights and the spot lights.

As far as the sequential LED marker lights, I bought those separately through Amazon and wire-tapped them to the existing mirror wires to work.

These are mine. 1aauto ones. Had to actually switch 2 wires on the harness to make the DRL work. I did not do the powerfold as I didn’t wanna add the button. Also my BSM does not work. Love the look so it’s a give and take.

Which 2 wires did you switch for your DRL? I swapped 1 wire in the mirror plug for my BSM and it works great now, it was 9 to 18 or vice versa, there is only one wire so you cant get it wrong

Were you able to use the existing power fold switch? I'm not sure if the 2014 had power fold stock but the 19 does.

My truck has power fold mirrors stock but my tow mirrors dont have it, I couldnt justify the cost.

I went with aftermarket GM style. Purchased on Amazon. Brand was Mostplus. No issues so far. Advertised to fit 07-2017. No problems with fitment or wiring on my 2020.20201030_080756.jpg

Purchased 1AAuto oem style tow mirrors, received them today. Can someone elaborate on the highway vibration. Is it just someone’s ocd, or is it horrible?

@EZDoes It I think a lot has to do with individual awareness and also how tight you screw in the mirror. Check the OEM seal verse the seal provided with the new mirrors. If the new seal looks like a joke, just use your OEM seal.
I haven't put on tow mirrors yet, but that's what I have heard and seen from my research.

Reviving this thread. Have been hunting for OEM power-folding tow mirrors (had two dealers tell me they dont exist..o_O) Anyone have feedback on the OEMs and where you got them from?

I'll attach the links from spark parts for manual fold. Should be a starting point. I ran into issues since my truck has manual fold but I wanted to upgrade to power folding when I moved to tow mirrors. That's harder but there are a few ways to make that happen if you need.

Edit: I just re-read your question... I just woke up and missed you asked specifically about power fold. I've looked into this but can't find part numbers at the moment. Will answer again when found

Nice! At least have part numbers now so will order em up.
I have manual fold on my work truck and I feel like a doof when I flip the mirrors in on a $48k truck every time I park so wanted to just spend the extra for the power fold. Im an electrician/electrical engineer so the wiring-up part shouldnt be an issue. Thanks for that!

I purchased these same power fold mirrors for my 2020 Sport. I thought the same thing, 48K on a truck and i have to manually fold in the mirrors. However, after installing the Toyota power fold mirrors, i had them on my truck for about 3 months and the first snow storm....Bang the passenger side mirror broke when they powered open. The ice gathered around the mirror and it broke. The power mechanism broke inside the mirror. I took them off and put the OEM mirrors back on. I plan on buying the GMC style manual fold mirrors instead, as they are slightly larger and they have a much better view out of them. So now I have 1 broken mirror in a box and 1 good power fold mirror. I noticed you are from Maine, I am from RI. I would rethink the power fold option. It would be a great idea if we lived down south, but here in New England, not a very good idea. Just my 2cents

Quality is the biggest factor. Many threads on this topic. Lot of decent options that are more affordable. All depends what you are wanting, how long you want it to last, and how much you want to spend.

So is their a middle ground quality and price wise?

It depends on what you are wanting. Manual or power fold, reverse puddle light, drl on the back side?
I would personally pick something that is either mentioned on here or has many reviews. I would spend a little more to get a reliable product (me personally).

I found a pair of the Trail Ridge used here for a reasonable price and have had them on the truck for a few weeks now and I am really happy with them overall.

The Quality seems decent really and I was worried they might be actual junk too. Mine were used but despite having been installed and removed from another guys truck they are in really good shape and only the gasket shows wear from this use.
The drivers side housing does not really fit the truck that well but after seeing this I looked at the factory standard mirror fitment and it was not really any better, just thin plastic parts where old school think plastic might have worked better in both cases.

The real issue that I have s that even with the Tow Mirrors I still have a huge blind spot on the passenger side and am trying one added mirror but it is almost worthless honestly, everything is so tiny in it that it is hard to decide what I am really seeing so now I need to pry it off somehow safely and try something else?

I would sure buy them again I think and I think they look good but I am happy that I did not pay retail price for them too!

Retrieved from my order confirmation a year ago. I had them in my truck for ~8 months, then went back to OE standard mirrors when I got tired of trouble shooting my wiring connections. I am NOT electrically inclined... Otherwise, I was really happy with them.

I appreciate it. Im an electrical engineer (and in school for electrician tech cert) so I can wire the power fold option I’m sure. It was the actual part # I was hunting for where I was being told it didnt exist and not finding it online. Thx!

If you go to boostautoparts.com they have videos for adding the harness, their video has you installing their harness but it might give you some pointers and save you some time. You could also see if they would just sell you the harness and button (if you need them) since with a mirror purchase the harness and button is only like $30 more.
If you do it all yourself, let us know how it goes

I bought my truck with tow mirrors on it. Not sure what brand but they did not vibrate and looked high quality. Didn't care for the look and it was confusing to me to look at the mirror and see two different things. Couldn't take a glance and sort out what I was looking at quickly. I'm sure I would get used to it if I had kept them. But along with all that it's tight getting in and out of my garage. I do that everyday and rarely tow something large enough to require tow mirrors. So off they came. After installing The OEM mirrors, I noticed what a huge blind spot the tow mirrors created looking off to the front/side of the truck. The tow mirrors only stick out just over an inch further then the OEM ones though. It's just the placement and the size of them that created the blind spot for me. I've kept them in case I get a big RV but I like the smaller mirrors much better so I doubt I'll ever put them back on. May not be helpful info but it's a perspective from someone who went the opposite direction as most on this topic.

Hey bro do you have any vibration issues with them?? And do they come with running lights or just turn signals?

Vibration in the passenger mirror, probably just need to tighten it up more. I have turn signals but not running lights, I believe running lights are only on lower trims
