My Custom Made Air-Bag Control Panel

    Here is a few pics of my custom air-bag control panel. As you may have guessed, (if you've seen my build thread) yes it is a custom made/homemade control panel. I put a lot of thought into the design and function. I have auxiliary frame mounted air tanks, so now when I tow I can just flip a lever and get a fill and accurate reading from the panel. It is mounted just inside the driver side rear door. No more need to pull out my air hose and portable gauge. I came up with the logo designs and had a local trophy shop do a laser etch on the panel ( $15 well spent on the etching)

    Used 1/4" nylon A/B tubing and push-connect fittings for the connections.

    Heading out to the desert this weekend for some R&R. May even have a cold one or two ! More mods down the road............:thumbsup:

    Thanks for the kind words guys. And yes, good call on the cover plate. I did some intense research to find it. It is a 3 gang box Jumbo S.S. blanking plate with no holes in it. (not real common). I made a wood jig and hand drilled all the holes. Nothing but another time consuming mod. Wouldn't have it any other way ! Fun stuff with a sense of accomplishment at the end.
