I already have 5100's installed on top setting. If I was to add the Coachbuilder's I am assuming that would leave me with just enough rake correct? Based on the 1.25 Spacers and 1.75 shackles. Also would my ride change much. I would think maybe a little more stiff ride. Maybe tighter in the rear with the beefed up shackles. Any input would be great.

You don't need his driveline spacers unless you have a 12" lift. Potentially if you had a 7" lift and are a 4x2 but most likely not.

I am sorry.... I had a moment. I meant shims up front with shackles in the back. I'm actually just trying to go up a little bit more. So down the line I can add a taller tire. Keeping a good ride as well. On top of that do not want to break the bank so to speak. Any suggestions for shims and any other way to go along with my 5100's would be great.

Ohhh I got you. Yeah the ride will be a bit harsher but not as much as a 3" spacer would make it.

Shouldn't have a problem with anything in the back, it's the shims on top of the front shocks that would make for a harsher ride.
Two shims per side is the most I would go if at all.

Ok cool. I just want to go up 1.25 in front and 1.50 in the back. That should in allow me to go taller later on without killing the ride. Plus I want a little taller stance. Who makes a good shim? Going with the Toytec shackles I think. They are pretty cheap $$$ wise.

You don't have the adjustable bilsteins?

Oh wait I see you have them on top setting already. I think @CaptTyler did that with his at the beginning. He would know about the ride better than I do.

    And coachbuilder makes good shims.

Here's what @Coachbuilder1 described to me when I asked about a little more lift on 5100s (edited to remove unnecessary details). If I'm understanding your question correctly this should help.

Shims provide .50"of total lift. Usually one shim will correct the front left corner clean.
+2" Coachbuilder shackles provide 1.25"of total lift. Hardware and a carrier bearing drop kit included.
Poly bushing kit will be required to use in the rear leaf spring eyelets.

When using the 5100s on the top setting you'll see 2.5"of lift up front and would recommend our +2"s with this application. if you want 3" up front you can use 2 shims on the left and 1 on the right to achieve this. You would want to use our +3"s with this application, they provide 1.75"of total lift.

Anyone know the lift if the 5100 is set to middle with a shim up front?

The 5100s give approx 2" on mid and 2.5" on top. Shim from Coachbuilder adds 1/2" each. Not sure about the Toytec shims that @GNTundra mentioned - haven't seen any info on those.

Regarding the .87", 1.57" or 2.28" - per Bilstein's install instructions "Ride heights indicated are typical. Actual ride height is influenced by which factory suspension the vehicle is equipped with and its condition; optional equipment and accessories on your vehicle, and other vehicle modifications such as replacement coil springs, wheel and tire combinations, etc."

It's my understanding that the Tundra's are closer to 2" and 2.5". I would imagine the installed coils are the biggest factor to the actual height achieved. I do not have mine bought or installed yet so I have no real world experience - just regurgitating what I recall from reading on this forum.
