Truck Cap, drivers grab handle, bug shield, locking gas cap, tail gate black raised insert letters. (Searching for black 20 inch rims.)
My 2020 Tundra has a built in remote start. However it only runs for ten minutes, or until you open the door. Winter in the Midwest can get very cold. A ten minute run time is a joke. REALLY TOYOTA. Does anyone know....is there a way to extend the run time on the remote start?? Thanks......

My aftermarket was the same way on my Chevy. I haven’t got one for my tundra yet though. It’s a must have though IMO

You should write a sternly worded letter.

If you're sitting in the truck it will only idle for 60 minutes before turning off.

Maybe you should trade it for a Ford.

The Toyota remote start sucks, mostly because as soon as you unlock the doors it shuts the truck off. There was a reason for that way of doing things when the truck had a key. But now that its push to start there is no reason for it, other than theft protection. Aftermarket is the only way to go. Aftermarket should be programmable

    Press it again?

My guess....it's a safety feature or dummy proof so people don't forget they started it.

I live where it can easily be -20 to -30, walk outside to manually start it and then come back in.

No truck needs more than 10 minutes to warm up.

There are also negatives to letting your truck idle for a long period of time especially in the cold, namely increased wear on the engine.
