Has anyone moved their high beam switch to the floorboard?

I haven't seen a high beam foot switch since my 1970 Chevelle.

Agreed - hoping someone has tried it before I try to hijack that switch.

I have several old square body Chevy trucks. Only one is on the floorboard. That's where it is on my HMMWV(Humvee) too. It's convenient, but at the same time has "gummed" up and stuck several times, although I admit it is a way more abused/used application than most pretty pickups would see. aHMMWV.jpg

You would still have the old switch with no purpose. What would you do with it? Stater kill? LED bar on/off?

That's the one thing about the older cars I don't miss. I like it on the stalk but only the kind you push forward for brights. I don't like the ones you have to click on for brights and click again for normal lights.

Not sure where you live but the foot activated high beam switch died because they just didn't last. Something about all the slush and salt from your boots in winter destroyed them.
